the wizarding world• Created by a goblin called Gringott

in the 1700’s• Bank is completely run by goblins

• Said to be the safest place in the wizarding world outside of Hogwarts

• Has only been broken into twice (1991 and 1998)

• Fortius Quo Fidelius is Latin for “Strength through loyalty.”

hominid in the wizarding world• Known for their extremely

strong magic that can be cast without wands

• Combined with their magic, they are especially adept to money management which has put them in control of the wizarding financial institution Gringotts

• Communicate through a language called Gobbledygook

• Wands allow the user to use and manipulate magic• A spell is a type of magic the user casts in order for something

to happen

• While most persons who use magic use it for good, some persons turn to a darker form of magic called dark magic

• As a person grows and becomes more accustomed with their magic using abilities, they are able to control where their spells go much easier than a person who is just learning

• This is what a typical spell might look like when it is cast
