“We intend to expand the number of installed cameras and update Digifort versions simultaneously with the innovations of the software and the advance of other tools in the segment. We will automate those activities that are routine in our property, optimizing process management to provide improved services to users, customers, and visitors. We want technology to work increasingly better for human well-being”, concludes the supervisor.

Perini Business Park is Brazil’s largest multi-sectoral condominium. With an area of over 2.8 million square meters, in the heart of the industrial district in Joinville/SC.

The site presented requirements that demanded the control and record of vehicles entering the complex, comprising speed monitoring and the automated opening of access gates.

With Digifort LPR, for example, the Perini Business Park began to have records of 100% of all vehicles accessing its areas. The feature also automated the opening of gates for vehicles belonging to management, by means of special alarm licenses. “Another differential is the registration of business partners, allowing the license plates from their vehicles to be on a VIP visitor list. The Analytics helped in overseeing and preventing incidents at Fabio Perini Avenue, where there was a troubling number of speeding infractions, being mainly committed by motorcyclists. Digifort technology was vital in improving this scenario”.

Praia Grande has almost 288 thousand inhabitants, distributed across 32 neighborhoods and 147 km². The town has accounted for over a million people over the summer holiday.

Currently, through a video wall composed of 24 monitors of 55’ high definition, CICOE observes almost 150 public buildings, schools, hospitals, parks, public avenues, commercial centers and the almost 22km extension beach coast.

The state secretary said that the idea from the Government of São Paulo is to create an integrated surveillance system. In today’s modern world, security is done with technology and integration between states and municipalities.

Which percentage of the installed system contributes to the security of people, goods, properties and fulfills its requirements?

All public buildings in the city today are protected with fully integrated alarm systems with all images. In many buildings, in addition to the physical alarms, there are also inteligent analytics to protect vital areas. We consider 100% protection.

With this implementation it is possible to eliminate night shifts performed previously by the city police, saving on great expenditure, and allowing the relocation of officers to other essential services.

Does it fulfill local and international laws, has certificates, and does its instalation meets the industry requirements?

All of the equipment acquired by the City Hall meet the local and international laws the the CE and FCC certifications, and are analyzed both through quality and durability, in addition to having our own requirements as to maintenance and repair

Is it a system with multiple systems? Mono-brand or may integrated brands? What is the found integration level? Does it serve multiple sites?

It is a multiple system that integrate many cameras manufacturers and equipments. We have all the way from analogic equipment such as cameras, DVRs and encoders, as we have IP cameras from different

brands and both IP and analogic alarm systems. All of those are integrated with the Digifort Software in order to control directly from the Video Wall or the workstation. These are multiple sites, 147 total, completely integrated to manage images directly, through synoptic maps or with Georeference localization for the cameras.

Does the security system, other than protecting, generates any kind of economy?

Yes, it did and does. The expenses are reduced in both fuel and maintenance in cars with the police fleet. Today, our public buildings are all eletronically protected, with no need for night shifts. The system informs online instantly when any event occurs in thes enviroments, and policemen are immediatelly send to the site. Besides, all our cameras protect places where school or medical material is kept, avoiding any thefts.

Does the installed system improves significantly the security for people and goods in general?

The prople in the city feel a lot more protected when they see the cameras. Our reporte criminial index reports na 85% drop in regions where the whole system has been installed, which shows the feeling of safety has increased a lot. Vandalism and thefts at schools, medical stations and other protected buildings have been reduced in 98% since its implementation.

focuses on fields of nanotechnology, heat transfer, wireless connectivity, material sciences, and green manufacturing process. Apart from cooperating

with the establishment of the research institution for nanotech, new material, and optical electric, they have also set up several research centers and testing

laboratories for mechanism, material, electronics to conduct the services of science research and technology development worldwide.

Foxconn factories are strategically located in Europe to ensure rapid fulfillment for its customers and two of the factories are located in the Czech Republic. Software Digifort

was chosen to secure the safety of these factories, finding incidents, protecting the property of company and the safety of employees.

At the beginning the protection of FOXCONN CZ factories consisted of two servers and 100 camera licenses and also client workplace, two large monitors and one client. With time, the system expanded to 14 servers with 700 cameras, seven client stations and ten monitors. Security managers also have mobile access into the whole system.

According to system properties, we are mostly satisfied with its stability. From the moment we started using Digifort, it has never collapsed” says Petr Anton. Besides the stability, he also sees other strengths of this system: simplicity of usage, easy searching in record and integration of many camera brands. Software Digifort co-operates with Sony, Pelco, DINOX and Vivotek cameras and their integration into the system was completely trouble-free. We also supply the system with our own hardware and network components because we are the producers

of these devices, and despite this fact, the system is still stable,” adds Petr Anton.

Tomáš Trnečka, from FOXCONN CZ company, says about software Digifort: “As I work with the system on daily bases, I have to appreciate its properties, such as simple installation, easy controlling and perfect user settings. In a dynamic company, such as FOXCONN CZ, with high requirements on security, I have to admit that Digifort was an excellent choice and at this time it is an invaluable help in administration of IP CCTV system.”

Continuing in its project for technical and commercial expansion in North America, Digifort has just recorded yet another important project with international scope. This time, the success case was carried out in the city of Las Vegas (USA), inside the car plant of Shelby.

Carroll Shelby International. Considered the main independent vehicle company in American territory, it focuses its operation in automotive products that provide new driving experiences. Founded by Carroll Shelby, one of the best race car drivers in the United States, the company is a pioneer in automotive innovation since it was conceived in 1962. It is considered the most important global brand in custom vehicles, such as the Ford Mustang, trucks, and the legendary Shelby Cobra.

The first phase of the project included approximately forty 5-megapixel cameras with IP technology and 360-degree rotation. They operate on a single server, equipped with the Digifort Enterprise 7.0 version. After the success of the initial stage, the second part of the deployment includes the Digifort Analytics modules (Intelligent Video Analysis) and Digifort LPR (License Plate Reading).

The Analytics will be used at the plant’s museum to monitor the perimeter around the vehicles on

display, while the LPR will monitor the vehicles on the production line or undergoing maintenance”

Responsible for the project’s customer service and after-sale, Hornreich reveals that the customer was not satisfied with the old system. The previous software was difficult to operate, consumed a lot of server resources and did not record in an effective format. For him, Digifort features a more user friendly interface and integrates different resources in a flexible manner.

“We are reassured with the acquisition of the product as it is capable of managing all cameras and exporting their recordings at any given time. It monitors the entire operation, from the entrance, through the production area and warehouses, to our Heritage Centre, which houses millions of dollars in historic vehicles. With the deployment of Digifort, all surveillance problems at the plant were resolved”.

In addition to these benefits, he highlights the fact that Digifort was chosen for its capacity to converge, integrating new and old cameras from different manufacturers. According to Sparkman, operating a system with these features allows you to get the most from each piece of equipment.
