You are mostly able to work without teacher support as a group. You require some guidance to enable you to reach the success criteria.

You can sometimes you work without the teacher constructively towards achieving the set goal. Teacher input is required for you group to work effectively and remain on task.

You consistently require a teacher to ensure that you focus and work towards the set task. Without teacher input no work is achieved.

Very Good Good Satisfactory WeakAs an individual, you are always on task, you do not talk about none work related issues so that you can achieve the goal of producing your Armada role play.

As an individual, you are mostly on task. Occasionally your focus slips away from the task. You required a small amount of teacher input to help you complete the task.

As an individual, you were often unfocused during this task e.g. talking to friends about non-work related topics. Your required teacher input to enable to achieve the task.

As an individual, you were consistently off task. You required a teacher present at all times to ensure you participated in making your Armada role play.

Europe, the continent that we live in is one that has changed a lot over the centuries. Not so much the shape of

the land, but the borders we have drawn within it

In a nutshell the winners sit down and decide who takes what and how the enemy should

be punished.

This normally consists of nicking their land. Watch this clip and tell me the following:

What is happening in the film?Who are the apparent victims of the Treaty?

Are they likely to achieve their aims?

Create Nation states in Europe (Self-Determination)(ie. people of 1 nationality eg. Slavs or Poles should have their own nation.)

To weaken Germany and protect France from any future German attack.

To make the losers (Germany and Austria-Hungary) pay for the damage caused during the war (reparations).

To reward those countries which supported the allies – Italy, Serbia, Belgium and Romania.

You must avoid causing a future war. Colour code the decisions RED, AMBER or GREEN depending on how likely they are to provoke a war
