The Yeoman Warders or “Beefeaters”. The Beefeaters, all ex-army men, are used mainly as guides. They are also involved in the security of this historic building. They are probably some of the most photographed men in Britain – thousands of tourists visit the Tower every year.

The main entrance into the Tower.

The White Tower is a central tower, the old keep, at the Tower of London. It was built by William the Conqueror. The castle which later became known as the Tower of London was begun by William the Conqueror in 1066.

Ravens have lived in the Tower from its very beginning over 900 years ago and according to legend “only so long as they are here will the White Tower stand”…

Mysterious and scared-The Bloody Tower.

The water-gate under St Thomas's Tower has been known for over 400 years as 'Traitors' Gate' because of the number of prisoners, accused of treason, who have passed through it.

The Tower of London is the most interesting and mysteriuos place in Great Britain. There are a lot of scary and amazing stories about this castle.
