placement policy

what we expect from students

Sunstone Eduversity is committed to providing the right career opportunities for its students, and follows a well-crafted Placement Assistance Program which is designed to ensure the best career outcomes for you.

Students must be deemed eligible to participate in the Placement Assistance Program. The eligibility criteria have been defined in the Placement Policy. Sunstone cannot ensure the placement of students deemed ineligible. Students are allowed to participate in any number of recruitment processes organized as part of the Placement Assistance Program, until they secure an offer.

Sunstone follows the policy of enabling one job offer for each student. A student is considered placed once they receive a valid offer during final placements or a valid offer from the organization post successful completion of internship

◼ A student must have secured minimum of fifty per cent marks in aggregate and minimum of marks of forty per cent in each subject of their Course.

◼ Maintained a minimum average attendance of seventy-five per cent in both classroom sessions (whether physical or virtual), and sessions conducted to train students for the selection process for job opportunities when averaged across all trimesters or semesters of the Course, as applicable, at the beginning of the respective placement season.

◼ A student should not have more than two active backlogs at the beginning of the placement season. Backlogs are permitted only if they were incurred due to medical conditions suffered by the student, and the Placement Team’s decision on this will be final.

◼ A student should not have violated any code of conduct at any point during the Course.

◼ Maintained a minimum of three sign-ups on average (Average Monthly Sign-up) throughout the Placement Assistance Program, without any no-shows or defaults. This will be calculated as the cumulative number of sign-ups made by the student in the last thirty days elapsed.

◼ For students deemed ineligible, Sunstone will conduct remedial programs from time to time. Full compliance with the requirements of such remedial programs will be required from the student for them to be re-considered as eligible.

◼ Students must also adhere to all the Placement Code of Conduct as defined in the detailed Placement policy.

Note: the full placement policy can be accessed here Placement Policy

first selection round of a recruitment process that they have nominated as a Dream Company, one Dream Option will be deemed exhausted. A job opportunity will be deemed to be eligible to be considered as a Dream Company by the Placement Team based on whether the compensation offered is greater than the offer the student holds currently by 10%, and the job profile is of a greater preference for the student in terms of specialization, company, or location.

(PPO). Even if a student does not accept a valid offer, they are considered as placed and can only sit for dream jobs. Sunstone focuses on providing the best career paths for students and does not always ensure that the offer made to a student aligns with the specialization(s) chosen by the student.

Once a student is placed, they will be allowed to participate in such eligible recruitment processes which are chosen by them as their ‘Dream Job’. A student will be provided with five Dream Options to choose from. Every time a placed student clears the

the opportunity network

Our training leverages industry-ready pedagogy to deliver the right outcomes to make the students ready for a strong career path. The training approach is also technologically immersive, and engages students in a multitude of effective ways both inside and outside the classroom, driving outcomes.

Sunstone stands apart due to its sustained focus on training and development which starts in the classroom, and continues throughout the students’ professional journey.

The sheer volume and variety of job opportunities available to sunstone’s student is because of the combined efforts made by the corporate relations team, who bring in top recruiters to hire from Sunstone, the student, who builds on his/her strenghts and the T&D team, working along with the industry to provide students with job specific trainings and bootcamps.

These events will encourage students to participate and become more confident, as this will be a concrete outcome of a year long engagement and a day of complete fun & frolic!

ETHOS Cultural & Business Fest

Mission: Inform, inspire and to provide a platform to the young minds to showcase their skills and talents, exchange knowledge, build awareness, generate interest and receive recognition.

The events & fests held at various partner campuses of Sunstone Eduversity derive their essence from the very qualities we hope to personify - creativity, adaptability, excellence & tallent. We define an event as an academ-ic, intellectual, cultural, and/or social gathering, held by students or an organization, in campus space. Events can be open to the entire campus community, open to all enrolled students, or closed events held for a smaller group of students and/or members of an organization.

Sunstone Eduversity celebrates its Cultural & Busi-ness Festival in the months of Nov- Jan. It is two action packed days, with a number of cultural and business as well as finance related competitions. There will be an array of cultural events including Debates, Group Discussions, Fashion Show, Quiz Programmes, Singing Competition, Musical Performance by popular artists, JAM Sessions, dramatics, dance competitions, and much more. This event will exemplify the zeal of our students towards education outside the four walls of a classroom.

The Sunstone Business fest is an inter-college event that consists of various management and non-man-agement games headed by the students from various campuses. This event is an opportunity for students to step out of their comfort zones and into more confident versions of themselves, serving as a true ice breaker for many graduates.

KURUKSHETRA Sports Fest
