When you have over 800 residents living here, you can imagine the volume of mail that
comes in to be sorted. Whereas we do our best to get mail delivered to your boxes as
quickly & efficiently as possible there can sometimes be delays because mail comes in to
us at various times of day. You can assist us with this process in a few ways:
1) Please make sure your mail is addressed with YOUR name and apartment number
on it. If your name is not clearly on the parcel, it will be returned to sender.
2) If you have a package to pick up, you must have the package slip that should be in
your mailbox and proper ID when you come to the office to pick it up.
3) Packages are held for 3 days before being returned to sender. If you know you will be
out of town and are expecting a delivery, please contact the leasing office so we can
make note not to have your items returned. For your protection, you will be the only
one permitted to pick up your mail unless prior approval is requested and given by
Gateway management.
4) If you are moving out, we cannot forward or hold any mail. You will need to contact
anyone that sends you mail letting them know your new mailing address. We will
return to sender anything received once you are no longer a resident.
Each resident that moves into Gateway at Seminole Suites & has registered their vehicle with the front office at move in or upon acquiring the vehicle, will be issued a PARKING PERMIT. This permit is to be displayed on the inside of your window on the drivers side. Failure to obtain a permit & display it correctly may result in your vehicle being towed. Only 1 permit per resident is
given. If you need a replacement permit, it’s a $35 fee.
Please make your parents or other visiting family or friends aware of where the “Visitor Parking” is so they are not the victims of a tow! Visitor parking spaces are marked throughout the property & space is also available by the front office/clubhouse area. Parking under the covered parking areas at anytime without a proper “Shelter Permit” will result in your vehicle being towed. So will improper parking, such as taking up two parking spaces.
If you are towed, please call Hobkirk Towing at (850) 224-6456.

The following electric energy use pattern is fairly common in many Tallahassee homes (all-electric homes heated and cooled with an electric heat pump).
Heating or cooling the house - 60%
Water heating - 15%
Refrigeration - 13% Everything else (TV, lights, washer, dryer, cooking, etc.) - 12% As you can see, the greatest opportunities for energy reduction are in heating and
cooling the house.
Where Energy Is Used
Helpful advice to apartment dwellers, especially students and others with their first-ever
utility account!
Don't think of it as the "Light Bill." We may call it a light bill but in summer we
ought to call it "the Air Conditioning Bill." Central air conditioning requires about 50 times
as much power as a 75-watt light bulb.
Set your air conditioning thermostat carefully.
Summer: Recommended indoor temperature is 78 degrees in . Set it higher when
you're away all day.
Winter: Recommended indoor temperature is 68 degrees. Set it lower at night.
How to set the "Fan" selection: Always select AUTO, never ON.
Find your system's air filter. Make sure there is one, and make sure it's clean. If not,
notify your apartment manager. Some filters are cleanable; others require replacement. Clogged filters increase your cooling and heating costs.
Manage sunlight at windows. In summer, close shades, drapes or blinds to block and
reflect the sun's heat outward. You'll be surprised at what a great difference this makes. In
winter, let sun in, but close window coverings at night.
Use hot water wisely. Report or repair leaks promptly. A hot water leak can increase
your energy costs as well as your water and sewer costs.
Refer a Friend Incentive
Need some extra money? Refer a friend to Gateway at
Seminole Suites and we’ll pay YOU the $50 referral
fee if they lease with us! It’s “suite” and simple!
