Frank J. Sprague and his lifeThe streetcar was invented in New York city in 1888 by

Frank J. Sprague. Frank was borne on July 25 1852. The streetcar would help you get down bad terrain, and the streetcar is still used to day all over the world! Frank’s home town is Milford, Connecticut he has made it out of the U.S. Naval academy in 1878. After that he took an interest in inventing.

The company Frank J. Sprague has made a motor for the first

time ever and started a company named Sprague electric railway and motor inc. And Frank has also worked with Thomas Edison!

His family and the way he helped the world with the street carFrank has been married two times, and had

two kids. He has been such a help for us to day, the streetcar helps us get down slopes, and down some steep hills.

The day of deathSoon enough he died on October the twenty fifth in 1934.

But the things he has done for us is fantastic! And what he did has made life easier for us.
