President’s Report By ED COFFEY
We are going to try to have a membership meeting October
7th. We will have to stay in compliance with state mandates, of
course. Capacity will be limited, and masks will be required.
Check our Facebook page and our website for updates on
this.
Hunter sight-in is going very well. We have been busy,
even with the COVID restrictions and the smokey air.
Due to being so busy, the Fun Shoot will be rescheduled.
If you want to see an event take place here please bring
it up to the office—253-537-6151 - or to me—253-208-3564.
We are always interested in what our members would like
to attend.
We are now accepting nominations for open Board posi-
tions for 2021. If you know someone or wish to run for a
Position, call the office.
As of October 5th our ranges will be closing at 5pm, with
last sign in at 4pm.
Have a fun and safe Halloween.

Hunter Sight-In
Hunter sight-in starts Friday September 11th and
runs through the end of October. Special consid-
eration will be given for hunting calibers. Range
time may be limited if it becomes busy.
Those shooting non-conforming firearms may be
asked to use the Peil range if the public range is
full.
As always, volunteers are needed for this event.
So, if you would like to have a little fun and have
knowledge of how sighting in a firearm is, please
contact me or the office.

I want to thank the members who helped in putting out the fire on the
Member Range. Because of their quick response the fire did not spread to
the Hunter Education Building. The members are Paul Meeker, Garry Nelson,
Edward Abby, Michael Kingoina and David Morlan who had a small fire
extinguisher in his backpack go bag. Also, to Mac Taylor, Ron Austin and
Jim Narlock who showed up just after the first crew was wrapping up the
area. Rick Rogers, the RSO on duty, made the range safe so the efforts of
the members were not in jeopardy going down range to extinguish the fire.
Regards,
Greg Willis, 2nd VP
The .22 long rifle only FUN SHOOTS hopefully will
resume again in November and we will need VOLUNTEERS.
This is a once or twice a month only shoot and is great for
beginners or anyone of any age that wants to have some fun and
maybe sharpen up their skills. All you have to do is show up at 9am
to help out.
If you have questions call or email the office—253-537-6151,
[email protected] or Mac Taylor—[email protected] .
You’re all invited to our
campground/picnic
area to meet the can-
didates from the 2nd
and 25th Legislative
Districts on October 3rd
from 3:30pm-6pm.
