What are we supposed to teach?• Slaves honor and be obedient

to their masters• Rich people not to trust in their

riches and to be generous


What are we supposed to teach?• Older men be sober, reverent,

temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience


What are we supposed to teach?• Older women be reverent, not

slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things, that they admonish the young women to…


What are we supposed to teach?• Young women love their husbands,

to love their husbands, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their ownhusbands


What are we supposed to teach?• Young men to be sober-minded• Zealous for, ready for, maintain

good works• Be subject to rulers and

authorities• Speak evil of no one


What are we supposed to teach?• Be peaceable, gentle, showing all

humility to all men


I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting; (1 Timothy 2:8)


In like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing, but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works. (1 Timothy 2:9-10)

heed to fables and endless genealogies, which cause disputes rather than godly edification which is in faith. (1 Tim. 1:3)

contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and useless. Reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition, knowing that such a person is warped and sinning, being self-condemned. (Titus 3:9-11)
