- The study of relationships among signs

③ Pragmatics

- How signs make a difference in people’s lives, or the practical use and effects of signs & their impact on social life.

• Conclusion Signs take the forms of words, images, sounds, gestures and objects.

Semiotics helps us to realize that meaning is not passively absorbed but arises only in the active process of interpretation.
