Box 3694 Aiken, SC 29802 The Savannah River Cancer Foundation offers help to cancer patients who live in Aiken, Allendale, Barnwell or Edgefield Counties in South Carolina. The Foundation provides assistance to approved patients of all ages who are being treated for any type of cancer at any cancer treatment facility. Assistance is available for cancer patients who meet the Foundation’s guidelines. Financial assistance is available to cover cancer-related prescription medication and transportation to and from treatment or cancer-related doctor appointments. The Savannah River Cancer Foundation was established in 2003 and is a federally- approved 501(c)(3) organization. All Foundation members are volunteers. The Foundation operates with funds received from donations, memorials and fund-raisers. All money raised by the Foundation is used in the four-county area to assist cancer patients. We are not an affiliate of any other cancer organization, nor do we receive funds from them. understanding and hope to anyone dealing
with cancer.
Dealing with cancer can be difficult for both
patients and their families. That’s why CanHope
is here to help.
CanHope, for Cancer Survivors Helping Others
Through Positive Encouragement, is the support
group arm of the Savannah River Cancer
Foundation. The group is made up of adult
men and women who have survived cancer and
others who have been touched by the disease.
Volunteer members of the group have the
primary mission of raising funds to assist cancer
patients and their families. Patient Record
Books and Resource Books are available from
the Foundation, free of charge. An emotional
support group is also available for our patients
and their family members. For more information,
call the Foundation’s office or the Cancer Care
Institute of Carolina.
