The City of Lloydminster Act[section 6]

[O.C. 345/2011] 9 JUNE 2011
On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that:
(a) Effective July 1, 2011, the land described in Schedule A attached hereto is separated from the Rural Municipality of Wilton No. 472 in Saskatchewan and the County of Vermilion River in Alberta and annexed to the City of Lloydminster;
(b) Any taxes owing to the Rural Municipality of Wilton No. 472 or the County of Vermilion River at the end of June 30, 2011, in respect of the annexed land, are transferred to and become payable to the City of Lloydminster, together with any lawful penalties and costs levied in respect of those taxes, and the City of Lloydminster upon collecting those taxes, penalties or costs shall forthwith pay them to the Rural Municipality of Wilton No. 472 or the County of Vermilion River, whichever municipality the taxes to the end of June 30, 2011, were owed to;
(c) This Order in Council is complementary to an Order in Council of the Lieutenant Governor in Council of Alberta that approves the separation of the land described in Schedule A from the Rural Municipality of Wilton No. 472 and the County of Vermilion River and the annexation of that land to the City of Lloydminster;
(d) The assessor for the City of Lloydminster must, for the purposes of taxation in 2012 and subsequent years, assess the annexed land and any assessable improvements to it; and
(e) This Order in Council is conditional on the issuance of the Order in Council of the Lieutenant Governor in Council of Alberta referred to in paragraph (c).

Appointment of a District Planning Commission
The affiliated municipalities and the Whitecap Dakota First Nation (Indian Band), pursuant to subclause 97(b)(i) of The Planning and Development Act, 2007, have agreed to the “WaterWolf District Planning Commission” consisting of one council member appointed by each affiliated municipality and one representative from the Whitecap Dakota First Nation (Indian Band).
Arrangements
The matters referred to in clauses 97(c) and (d) of the aforementioned Act are set out in Sections 3 and 7 of the Agreement attached hereto.

The Rural municipality of Coteau No. 255 has applied to terminate affiliation in the WaterWolf Planning District. Having fulfilled the requirements of Section 13 of the WaterWolf Planning District Agreement for termination, I hereby order that:
1. The affiliation of the “Rural municipality of Coteau No. 255 (Bylaw No. 02-09)” with the WaterWolf Planning District be terminated; and
2. There are no assets or liabilities to distribute between the Rural municipality of Coteau No. 255 and the remaining affiliated municipalities.
