There are more changes expected for the 2016-2017 year to improve parking lots and road condi- tions around campus. Some of these changes may have been easily recognized by SIU faculty, staff and students, but others may be more subtle. Here is a short list of some of those changes that may affect your day-to-day parking and campus travels. The parking lot to the east of the Student Center, in the area formally known as McAndrew Stadium was extended and the entire lot is now Lot 11. Lot 11 is open to all RED DECAL hold- ers, blue decals may still park in this lot. The changes to lot 11, made way for resurfacing and reconfiguration of lot 13 and other chang- es to area parking lots. The parking lot directly west of Travel Service, Lot 13A was changed to an ALL BLUE DECAL parking lot. Parking lots 10A and 10B, directly east of the Student Ser- vices Building have been combined into one parking lot and given the appropriate name of Lot 10. This parking lot is now available only to BLUE DECALS . Commuter students will no longer be allowed to park in Lot 45, directly south of the Recrea- tion Center. The entire lot has been changed to ALL GREEN DECALS to eliminate confusion. The cost to obtain a duplicate decal will be $15.00 and the cost of a one day guest permit will be $4.00. New lot signs have been installed in every parking lot to increase readability and ease confu- sion about who can and cannot park in the designated area. Parking Lot 5 is now an ALL pay station parking lot. Those who parking in this lot will be re- quired to pay a minimum of $1.00 for 2 hours. Several changes were made to parking lot designations and the parking rules and regulations dur-
ing the 2015-2016 academic year to help ease confusion for member of the campus community.
There are more changes expected for the 2016-2017 year to improve parking lots and road condi-
tions around campus. Some of these changes may have been easily recognized by SIU faculty, staff
and students, but others may be more subtle. Here is a short list of some of those changes that may
affect your day-to-day parking and campus travels.
The parking lot to the east of the Student Center, in the area formally known as McAndrew
