Look at the tail and the wrist of the lure. Not allpaddletails are equal. You want a weight thatyou can cast but one that allows the lure toeither hang, or slowly kick on the drop. They'llmostly all kick on the retrieve but that isn't whatthe bass always want. This is especially true ofbig bass.
