N.A.B 8, 2022 30th June, 2022 THE ROAD TRAFFIC (AMENDMENT) BILL, 2022 MEMORANDUM The object of this Bill is to amend the Road Traffic Act, 2002, so as to— (a) revise the composition of the Board of the Agency; (b) revise the provisions relating to the registration of a motor vehicle and trailer; (c) revise the provisions relating to licensing of motor vehicles and drivers; (d) enhance road safety provisions; (e) revise the penalties for driving offences; and (f) provide for matters connected with, or incidental to, the foregoing.
