Roman Empire

• Flourished for 300 years.

• Fertile soil and very strong army.

• Julius Caesar used his military power.

• He became dictator for life.

• He was assassinated by his senators.

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) time

Islamic Empire in Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W)’s time:

Expansion in Rightly guided caliphate.

• For a nation to prosper strong economy is essential.

• It helps to improve the basic infrastructure.

• In the early era people used trade caravans and provided them with security.

PATRIOTISM

• People were loyal ,trustworthy ,dedicated and were always ready to defend their country.

• They were well aware of their virtues and achievements .

• They were ready to sacrifice.

EDUCATION

• Education is characteristic of every modernized nation.

• It helped people to become more creative, innovative and ingenious.

• Education was the main source of character building of the entire nation.

CONSTITUTION

• Constitution is the base of every nation.

• All the nations were run under a defined constitution.

• In the Muslim empire these rules and regulations were based on the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah.

Jurisdiction

• In the early Islamic era holy prophet first introduced the system of jurisdiction.

• All the people were treated with equality and justice regardless of their status ,caste or color.

Factors involved in declineof Muslims

ECONOMY

• Improper utilization of the nations capital

• Money distribution system (Zakat) was not very effective

• Corruption

PATRIOTISM

• Lack of unity

• Lack of loyalty

• Lack of honesty

EDUCATION

• Muslims did not continue education as their predecessors

• Muslims rely on work done by their predecessors

• With the passage of time due to lack of research their decline became greater and greater

• Formulation of Constitution based on

personal agendas rather than Quran and

Sunnah

Jurisdiction

• Law and order situation is poor

• Process of justice is long and difficult

• People did not get justice

• Justice process was corruption

How can we take Pakistan to the rise?

• Purpose of History to learn from our past

•We must restore the investors confidence.

• We must increase investment in our

education system and bring about reforms in

education system.
