Whenever a single feature is required, why should you end-up with exotic new services, fancy long-term promises and expensive features? What you need is a secure, easy and cost-effective investment, requiring only a single specific type of service. A single-service Hybrid offers exactly that. Choose CATV-only, voice-only or a single-port Gigabit mediaconverter, without losing the possibility of upgrading to multiple services in the future.
The world is full of choices. Investing in fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) is not only a strategic decision, it also brings many choices. Selecting a suitable home gateway is just one of these choices, and it is a difficult one!
With the Hybrid home gateway solution, we have made this choice easy. Instead of an all-in-one box, the Hybrid splits the home gateway into 3 layers:
1. Fiber Termination2. Network Termination3. Residential Gateway
Seperating the functionality of the home gateway enables a secure, long-term investment in the network termination layer, while retaining the option to replace the residential gateway whenever you want.
This cost-effective concept creates flexibility where needed: The FTU and NT remain in place for years to come, whilst allowing an easy upgrade of the RG whenever required.
The result is a Hybrid solution for everyone. We don’t make the choice, you do!
Triple-play services are the standard of today. Many people require internet, television and telephone services in their homes. The Hybrid solution offers a fully modular and flexible triple-play home gateway, adjustable to your needs. Gigabit or 100 Mbps, number of LAN ports, telephony, CATV, with or without high-speed WLAN... The choice is yours!
We believe services will go beyond today’s triple-play only. Services such as e-metering and remote healthcare are knocking on our doors. The Hybrid offers an open platform, clearing the way for these new services to enter our homes. Whatever the future brings, your Hybrid configuration is ready for it! New services can easily be enabled by installing an additional service module.

The Universe fiber termination unit is the foundation for all of the Genexis Hybrid products. Based on a universal interface, it has been designed to enable a swift installation and to fully utilize the capabilities of fiber. It reduces installation cost and optimizes the customer’s ease of use.
The Universe is the most versatile and complete fiber termination unit on the market.
Intelligent Fiber Management
The core of the Universe is its intelligent fiber management system. Based on patented technology, it offers the most versatile, safe and user-friendly fiber management ever seen in a fiber termination unit.

The Universe Bracket enables direct wall-mounting and fiber patching of the Hybrid Element. Using the same click-on interface as the Universe FTU, the Universe Bracket is fully compatible with all Hybrid Element products.

Element Masque
The Element network terminator is the heart of the Hybrid product family. It marks the demarcation point of the network, based on a full Gigabit interface. It translates the optical signal into tangible services via the Live! residential gateway.
The Element network termination layer is available for all modern network architectures, including Point-to-Point Ethernet, GPON and WDM-PON.
The Hybrid Interface
The Hybrid Interface is the essential part of the Hybrid solution. This interface is the bridge between the Live! services module and the Element network termination module. It enables the end-user to activate services with one simple “click”.
For scenarios where the Element is being installed without a Live! unit, the Element Masque can be clicked on top. The Masque acts as a cover and protects the Hybrid connector, smoothens the design and can be used for customer-specific branding.

The Live! residential gateway is the flagship of the Hybrid product line. It blends design, high-end technology and user-friendliness into one product. It offers a wide range of state-of-the-art functionality, including Gigabit, auto-switching, WLAN, telephony and USB.
The Live! is fully compatible with every Element network termination module, and can be installed and replaced by the end-customer with one simple “click”. The intuitive installation of the Live! makes an expensive visit by a technician unnecessary, resulting in a significant saving on cost.
With Live! Support, your Live! residential gateway is always up to date. Regular updates provide the latest software features and upgrades on existing functionality.
