The Pub Digital Press Kit

Conceived by Cincinnati based restaurateur Nick Sanders, The Pub was inspired by his love of the classic British pub and the hospitality he has experienced in pubs throughout Great Britain.

The award-winning exterior of The Pub is modeled after the classic corner Pubs of London.

Pubs (Public Houses) are fundamental to the culture of Britain. They are a place where people from all walks of life can come in for a bite to eat, a pint and good conversation while feeling right at home.Nick’s mission is to provide guests with a true British Pub experience through brilliant food, beverage and hospitality in an original and authentic atmosphere.

The furniture and accessories are purchased in the U.K. to provide an authentic atmosphere. Guests will feel

transported and see influences from Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The Union Jack flag is the

flag for the United Kingdom and symbolizes respect for individuality within a closely nit community.

The centerpiece of each Pub is a handcrafted bar with optic pourers native to the inverted pouring

systems that originated in Europe.

The Pub offers a wide variety of draught, cask conditioned and handcrafted beers with selections from England, Ireland, Scotland, Europe and the USA. 

What our beer is served in is as important as the beer itself. In true pub fashion, the glassware varies from beer to beer, each with its own unique glass, allowing guests to properly savor their favorite brew.

In addition to the top notch beer list, The Pub offers a comprehensive list of single malt scotches, small batch and single barrel bourbons, wines and specialty cocktails.  

Our Pub locations in Tampa, Orlando, Nashville, Beachwood and Atlanta (coming soon) feature a “Pour Your Own Beer Wall”, providing guests with the opportunity to pay by the ounce, pull their own pint and have a more interactive experience.

For the beer enthusiasts, The Pub features a Passport Program and Mug Club membership. Passport members can sample beers from different countries as well as hand-crafted beers from the United States. Our Mug Club members enjoy exclusive benefits and perks.

The Pub menu features British pub fare along with some American favorites and it’s not your typical pub food. Each location has an executive chef and we use high quality ingredients to make certain each dish is fresh and expertly prepared.

Brilliant Events

Our unique concept provides us with one-of-a-kind event opportunities such as World Cup, the Royal Wedding Viewing party and a traditional St. Patrick’s Day celebration.

Beverage “Firsts”

• Mr. Sanders was the first restaurateur to serve Belhaven beers in Ohio. Belhaven was only available in two other states at the time and it is the flagship beer for each Pub location.

• Nick Sanders was the first restaurateur in Ohio to serve Guinness on tap and went on to be the first to serve the Irish trio of Guinness, Smithwick’s and Harp.

 • We were the first restaurant company to serve the popular Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale on tap in Ohio 

and Florida.

• Nick Sanders is the first restaurateur to work with the Woodford Reserve Distillery to create our own Proprietor’s Blend of bourbon.  Each year Nick takes a group of team members to work with the Master Distiller to sample from barrels of bourbon and select a combination to create the ultimate small batch.
