The Pluperfect Tense• You use the pluperfect tense to describe an

action in the past that occurred before another action in the past.

• To form the pluperfect tense, combine the imperfect tense of the verb haber with a past participle.

• You generally use the Spanish pluperfect in the same way you use its English equivalent.
