About 100 years ago, a missionary couple came from America to a remotest part of Japan…

They were fascinated by the beauty of the hills, the flowers and the people.

His name was Rev. George Pierson.

His wife was Ida.

The Piersons in kimonos, a gift of love and appreciation from the local people.

Their house was called the Three Oaks.

From their home, they were able to see the Christian pioneer settlement in the distance.

to visit this awesome place!
