Announcement of Confirmation It gives us great pleasure to announce that the Sacrament of Confirmation will be conferred by Fr. Brian at three Liturgies next week and the week following. Our Confirmandi have been actively preparing for this beautiful sacrament for seven years. Even during these past few months of the pandemic, they have been watching Mass and have been engaged in various faith-filled activities such as prayer, study, and service. We would like to thank their catechists who have devoted so much time and attention to echoing the faith to these children. They have offered our Candidates years of weekly prayer and study, exploring, experienc-ing, and entrusting the “Good News”. Remembering Our Departed Loved Ones
OUR PARISH MISSION STATEMENT The parish of St. Lawrence the Martyr is a family of believers, rooted in the Roman Catholic faith, and striving to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ in both word and action.
As disciples of the risen Lord, and stewards of his extraordi-nary gifts, we seek to grow strong in faith, hope, and love. With the parish as our spiritual home, we commit ourselves to prayer, to teaching the faith, and to serving the needs of the poor.
Nourished by the Word of God and the Church’s sacraments, we cherish our rich Catholic heritage as we strive to build a welcoming faith community and proclaim Christ to the world. We look to our patron, St. Lawrence, who challenges us to see in one another—and in all God’s children—the “treasure of the Church.”
Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession)
