Kappa Easter Egg Hunt
Theta Denim Dash
The Panhellenic Times Page 2
Each year, Kappa Kappa Gamma hosts their
annual Easter Egg Hunt for the faculty and
staff’s children. It could not have been a
more perfect day as this year’s hunt was held
on March 19th in Founder’s Mall where
many gathered in anticipation of the hunt.
Each member of Kappa Kappa Gamma
helped by bringing at least 10 eggs filled
with candy to scatter across the Mall. The
command was given and children raced off
into different directions to find as many eggs
as possible. After the hunt, many families
had their pictures taken with the Easter
Bunny and enjoyed the refreshments pro-
vided.

Kappa Alpha Theta raised $2,335 at their Charity Denim Dash
this March. The event was so successful it will be held again next
semester. Charity Denim is a traveling fund-raising company that
sells designer jeans for half-off and then donates 10 percent of its
profit to the host organization. The money raised will go to Kappa
Alpha Theta’s national philanthropy, Court Appointed Special Ad-
vocates, which helps disadvantaged children. Theta opened its
chapter room to the public and sold jeans, such as True Religion
and Rock & Republic for prices ranging from $45-$100. The event
received much publicity and was featured in both the Lariat and
Waco Trib.

Tip #3: Use
daylight
hours to
study. An hour of studying dur-
ing the day is worth two at night!
Do the work that requires the
most concentration (usually read-
ing) earliest in the day.
Tip #1: At the beginning of
the week make a list of all
the things you have to do
and rank them in order of
importance.
Tip #2: When working in
groups, delegate jobs effi-
ciently. People will hesitate to
delegate jobs when working in
groups, but take charge if there is
not a designated leader.
