Settling in well, Aeryn?

“Hmm? Oh, yes, definitely. I got a job the other day- not the one I

wanted, but it pays well…”

“I‟m working for the military, actually, not really my ideal job but it pays

the bills and then some.”

“I called up the matchmaker the other day. She expects you to pay her

an awful lot of money, you know.”

I‟d noticed- go on, get to the point of why you‟re lounging about in your

underpants.

“Well, you see, I couldn‟t afford to pay her much, so she just sort of

dropped whatever guy came up, I guess... But he wasn‟t bad looking or

anything, so…”

Aeryn, my friend- what did you do?

“I… think he wasn‟t actually 18 yet. I mean, he swore he was, and he

looked like he was, but…”

I get the feeling there‟s more to this…

“Well… I think I‟m pregnant.”

“Augh, it hurts, why did I agree to this?!!”

In your own words- „because you asked me to‟. Relax, it‟ll be over in a

minute.

Aww. A little girl. Let me guess- she looks like her dad?

“Yeah, she really sort of does. Anyway, her name‟s Naomh, and I, for

one, think she‟s the prettiest baby in the whole world.”

It actually unnerves me how competent this nanny has been.

Maybe it‟s because she‟s green. Everyone knows aliens are

awesome, after all.

Oh boy. Let me guess, this is that hot neighbor you mentioned?

“Um… yes?”

Well, have fun with that. You have two bolts with him, you might as well.

“Oh, I‟ll have fun alright.”

Really, I‟m sure. I think I‟ll just… go stare at your daughter for a

while, make sure she‟s not making stink clouds or something.

Honestly, though, these two are really kind of cute together. And Rhys has taken it upon himself to never leave without being asked, so he practically

lives there. It‟s too bad I can‟t actually have them get married, since Rhys is both a playable, and technically already married due to the way CAS handles

two sims having a child together.

-----Rhys is from Marina‟s Fitzhugh Legacy and Villainous Apocalypse, which are both awesome. He‟s married to Aria Bohemian from Jamie/DocGirlP‟s Bohemian Legacy here, because I absolutely adore their daughter Requiem.

Anyway, soon enough, it‟s Naomh‟s birthday, and Aeryn invites Rhys and

his family, plus some townie she‟d become friends with. She doesn‟t

invite Naomh‟s father because he‟s from one of the vacation

neighborhoods, and I don‟t always think these things through.

Eh… not what I was hoping she‟d look like, but oddly appealing nonetheless. She needs a new haircut though.

“I think she‟s adorable.”

Well, yes. I‟m not sure whether she is or not, but I like her.

Had I mentioned that Rhys doesn‟t leave? He also spends a lot of time

with Naomh. I‟m quite certain he‟s either up to something, or trying to

prove something. Both are rather unsettling thoughts.

Well. This should be interesting.

“Interesting? Yeah, that‟s not the word I‟d have used.”

You‟re not happy about this?

“No, I‟m very happy. But I remember what labor was like, and that makes it less appealing.”

Rhys, I get it. You like kids, and for a kid who isn‟t yours, you like Naomhmuch more than I‟d have expected. But the cute is going to kill me.

“Dada?” Naomh asked.

“Not exactly…”

“Nu-uh. I says you my dada, so you is. Okay?” Naomh insisted.

Rhys just hugged her and didn‟t respond.

Naomh learned all her toddler skills just in time for her birthday. Note that

at this point, the only time Rhys has gone home was right before her

previous birthday. He practically lives there.

Okay, this child is getting cuter as she ages, I swear. Now I need to take the face paint off her, the cheekbone weirdness is better enough for me to get rid of it.

“Hey, clickyperson, I don‟t look weird! Well, unless tiger paint makes me look weird, and that‟s your fault.”

True, you don‟t look weird. But a lot of toddlers have some strangeness with their cheekbones. You were one of them, and it bothered me.

“See? I‟m awesome, you know. And pretty. Mommy says I‟m the prettiest

little girl ever. And I can do cool stuff like cartweels.”

“AUGH I HATE THIS PART!!”

Aeryn, just breath and spin.

“Your daughter, Aislinn. Hold her for a moment while I give birth to the

other one.”

Twins. I am both overjoyed and horrified.

And this little boy is Conleth. Both twins have red hair and brown

eyes, which I expected.

Let‟s see… he doesn‟t leave, he takes care of the kids while Aeryn is busy skilling, and I don‟t really have to worry about his wants or needs, as long as

food gets set out every so often and he ends up sleeping after woohoo-oh, yes, and they can‟t keep their hands off each other unless one of them is

busy with something.

Yeah, I think I won‟t bother asking him to leave. His perpetual visitor state is both amusing and useful.

I see you brought home a friend, Naomh.

“Yeah. Some dumb boy called me ugly at school, and she stuck up for

me even though she‟s, like… the prettiest girl in class. I think she‟s

awesome.”

Birthday time again- Conleth is up first. Guest list is pretty much as seen.

Aeryn‟s townie friend does not get along with Rhys, so he‟s sort of been

relegated to phone friends only. I don‟t need fights starting at birthday

parties.

And Aislinn grows up into… something odd. Someone get that toddler

real clothing, please?

Conleth is utterly adorable, by the way. So is Aislinn, but I have less

pictures of her as a toddler.

Anyway, after the twins‟ birthday, I leave them with a nanny (and with

Rhys, who never leaves), and take Naomh and Aeryn on vacation to

Three Lakes.

Why, you ask? Well, I wanted a Bigfoot. They have maxed skills and all

the badges, and I could use some snapdragons. Plus, they‟re just

awesome.

So, they befriend the bigfoot, whose name is Max, and who is apparently a knowledge sim. I really like this bigfoot.

“The clickyperson says you have to come home with us, Max. You‟re gonna come home with us, right?”

“Of course. I will meet you at your home when you return there, young Miss Naomh.”

“You talk weird, Max.”

Naomh spends most of her childhood painting and sliding down the

stairs.

And, of course, playing with her siblings.

Speaking of siblings, one of Rhys‟ other daughters just arrived in town- Ursula Fitzhugh, from the Villainous Apocalypse. She wandered by, and Aeryn

greeted her, if I recall correctly, and then she sort of gravitated to Aislinn.

“Sissy! Best f‟ends?”

Urse, you can‟t deny that grin, you know. Aislinn‟s just too cute.

I mean, look at these two! They‟re possibly the cutest toddlers the sim

world has seen.

Mind, I may be biased.

More adorable family bonding. Had I mentioned how incredibly cute

Conleth is?

Birthday time again, of course. Time passes unnervingly quick in the sim

world… or maybe a lot of boring stuff happens most of the time, like

mindless skilling, and the only thing I have pictures of is the kids being

cute and Rhys and Aeryn making out whenever they find time. (He has

finally started leaving on his own. I‟m not sure why.)

Aislinn slides down after her makeover. I‟m thinking this must be Aeryn‟s

fault, the whole ridiculous amount of playful points thing.

Doesn‟t Aislinn look cute, though? I love that outfit, and it suits her.

I swear, though, these two are the cutest twins I‟ve ever had in my

game, and the most twin-like. They‟re always together, and they‟ve been

friends since the day they grew up to toddler- essentially their whole

lives.

More birthdays. Oh, and Aeryn‟s not there because she finally got a job in

music, so she‟s working towards her LTW. Max has been working in

education- note the awesome bookshelf back there.

Conleth looks as bored by the birthdays as I am, and I swear Aislinn

looks like she‟s faking excitement for her sister‟s sake.

Naomh looks kind of pretty now, to be honest. Different, but kind of

pretty. She rolled Romance with Knowledge secondary, and her stats are

as follows- 4/4/4/10/6. Her LTW is to have 20 simultaneous lovers.

“Naomh, you‟re starting at Viper High tomorrow, right? I‟ll show you around if you like,” Requiem offered with a smile.

“Would you? That‟d be great!” Naomh agreed cheerfully. “Hey, come hang out with me on the playground stuff we just got, it‟s awesome.”

“Whoo, first day of high school, here I come!”

Yes, she still does this.

“Hey, Amar, maybe we could go out sometime?” Naomh suggested. She‟d invited him over after school, and it was fairly obvious it was because she was interested in

him.

“Um… yeah. Yeah, that‟d be great. Really, really great,” Amar replied somewhat nervously.

“I like your earring. It makes you look like a bad boy. I like bad boys, Amar.”

“Do you really?” he asked.

“Oh, yeah. I like any guy man enough to let someone shove needles in his ears,” Naomh replied with a grin.

“Kiss me?”

“Sure,” Naomh replied, leaning forward. Their lips met, and hearts swirled

in the air. It was oddly cliché, but she liked it.

“That was nice,” Amar pointed out dazedly.

Max has made plenty of snapdragons, so I have him set about cloning

himself making a servo.

The servo is named Liam, and he, in turn, sets about making more

flowers while Max works on sentrybots.

Father/son bonding time- one nice point style. Also known as a fun game

of WHAP! between two very mean sims.

Conleth maxes creativity, making him the fifth sim in the house with full

creativity (Aeryn, Naomh, Max, Liam, and Conleth).

“Conleth! That wasn‟t very nice,” Aislinn complained.

“Linn, I’m not nice. Relax, that‟s the worst you‟ll ever get from me, I

swear,” Conleth replied. “You‟re my twin and my friend.”

“Oh, yeah? Well… nah, I can‟t hit you that hard. Let‟s go play outside,” Aislinn responded.

“Cool. Cops and robbers, tag, or water balloons?”

“Cops and robbers, I guess. I get to be the robber, though!”

“Hey,” Aeryn said quietly, wrapping her arms around her long-time lover and the father of her youngest two children. “The twins‟ birthday is tonight. It‟s crazy how time flies, you know?”

“I know.”

“I heard you helped me get promoted, by the way. Thanks for that, I‟m almost at the top now.”

“No problem.”

Aeryn opened her mouth to say something else, but he stopped her with a kiss.

Like Aeryn said, it‟s the twins‟ birthday, and pretty much the whole

neighborhood was there, including some simselves who‟d arrived

recently- specifically Marina Smoothiequeen (aka

smoothiequeen87, writer of the Fitzhugh Legacy and Villainous Apoc)

and De Fireflower (fireflower314, writer of the Pierce and Morgan

legacies).

“Haha, even if you were born first, I always grow up first, Linn. I bet that

makes me older,” Conleth gloated playfully.

“Cool it, island boy, and go put a shirt on. I‟m still older,” Aislinn

replied, laughing.

“Oh, yeah, these clothes are nice. Look at this, I got a cool shirt and

pants with boots, Con!” Aislinn cheered.

“Yeah, well, I got some weird islander crap, as you‟ve already pointed

out, so I‟m gonna go change.”

Conleth rolled Fortune with a secondary of Romance and an LTW of 5

top businesses. His stats are 7/8/9/5/1.

Aislinn rolled Fortune with a secondary of Knowledge, and her LTW is to

max all skills. Her stats are 10/3/4/6/5.
