For almost 100 years, the YMCA of Central New Mex-ico has supported our local communities, focusing on diversity in people, cultures and religions. Working with our neighbors, we empower people and commu-nities in Central New Mexico by nurturing the potential of children and teens, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility. Beginning this summer, volunteers from Del Norte Rotary will be presenting a program to over 2,000 5th grade students in the Albuquerque Public Schools District entitled ―Don’t METH With Us.‖ This program provides education about the dangers and conse-quences of Meth use and provides students with tools to say ―no‖ so they can avoid being swept into the cy-cle of use and abuse of this drug. The YMCA & Del Norte Rotary Club thanks you for participating in this years golf tournament!

On Wednesday, July 25th Del Norte Rotari-ans and guests will get an opportunity to hear Ms. Maxine Chaveq of ABQ Drug Testing Solutions speak about workplace drug testing. ABQ Drug Testing Solutions is a full service drug testing service. They provide comprehensive testing services including:
Drug Detection Assessments

In-home Drug Testing
Background Checks They are a national company helping parents and communi-ties confront the scourge of drugs in the home and have de-veloped a comprehensive program for home use that not only discourages your children from using and abusing drugs, but actually increases communication within the family. ABQ Drug Testing Solutions start with education about drug and alcohol abuse. The program is a complete approach to educating the family and preventing drug abuse. They pro-vide tools for facilitating communication in the family and have a "Family Pledge" that is used to explicitly declare a fam-ily drug and alcohol policy. This organization also provides US Food & Drug Administra-tion (FDA) cleared drug testing kits. These kits are accurate, safe, and meet the same standards established by the United States Department of Transportation for drugs of abuse test-ing. The kits test for marijuana, cocaine, ecstasy, metham-phetamine and opiates. ABQ Drug Solutions believes in the motto "Prevent and Deter". Within the workplace ABQ Drug Solutions have a drug detec-tion assessment, business owners may use to determine if drugs are a major issue within your workplace. Please join us learn how you may protect your work environ-ment, employees and your business at the Sheraton Uptown Hotel, noon on Wednesday, July 25, 2012.
