THE NEXT STEP CAST AND SHOW

MICHELLE • Michelle is a contemporary

dancer and one of the dance co- captains of A-Troupe. She was named Miss National Soloist at Nationals. She's the new girl at the studio and just wants to fit in and make new friends. Since Michelle is such a strong dancer and new to the group, she became co-captains. Michelle doesn't like getting other people in trouble and wants the best for A-troupe.

EMILY• Emily a contemporary

dancer, and she is the co-Captain at The Next Step Studio. Emily took her position as team captain very seriously, and sometimes she's really hard on the team because she wants the A-Troupe to reach the regional finals. Sometimes she forgets that what she thinks isn't always the best for the troupe.

RILEY

• Riley is a contemporary dancer in  A troupe. She likes to dance alot and spends most of her time at the studio. She is sometimes shy but stands up for what she belives in.

JAMES• James is one of the elite

dancers in The Next Step Studios. He is a breakdance. James struggles with math and tries to be focused with math, dance and also his schedule with the ladies. James likes to dance because it gives him happiness and an advantage with the ladies. He is pulled from the studio by his mother.

ELDON

• Eldon is a contemporary dancer but is amazing at all styles of dance. He doesn't take anything too seriously and just wants to have fun dancing and wants others to do the same. Eldon is one of the best dancers in the studio and a popular member of the troupe.

DANIEL

• Daniel was an A troupe dancer. He was a great ballet dancer who loves to dance. Without being in A troupe, he would have ended his dancing career. As of Break Stuff, Daniel has left a-troupe due to spraining his ankle.

STEPHINIE• Stephanie is a jazz dancer, a

dedicated member of The Next Step studio and Emily 's best friend. She always has Emily's back and supports, she always stands up for Emily no matter what and will do anything for her. Stephanie's parents aren't very supportive of her dancing so she relies on her friendship with Emily for encouragement.

WEST• West is a nice, easy-going

hip-hop dancer. He doesn't like opening up to people because they're not always trust-worthy. West usually keeps to himself and not telling people what he is thinking. When West does open up and talks to people they find weird and don't quite get what he is talking about.

CHLOE

• Chloe is in her first year of A-troup . Chloe has to work a separate job to afford to the studio membership, costumes, and the contest fees. Chloe specializes in ballet.

TIFFANY

• Tiffany is a very positive hip-hop dancer. Sometimes she doesn't agree with Emily but tends to keep it to herself.

GISELLE• Giselle is a sweet dancer

who is good at all types of dance, but acro is her best. She was formerly a A-troupe member , when she is demoted to B-troupe. She is still good friends with Emily. Although she is part of the main cast, she doesn't appear very much, due to her being a B-Troupe Member. She is now in a-troup.

KATE• Kate is the owner of the

Next Step Dance Studio and she has been for two years. Kate's mother was the previous owner and passed it on to her. She becomes very overwhelmed with the work since she is new to the buisness. With the help of Chris, her goal is to get the Next Step Studio dancers to the regional dance competition.

CHRIS• Chris is the head

choreographer at the Next Step Dance Studio. Chris is very easy-going and that is one of the reasons he and Katedon't always see eye to eye. Even though Kate and Chris have different opinions of how to run the studio they still respect each other. Together Kate and himself try to make the dancers the best they can be.
