My favorite “season” is rain, cold and flannel sheets so I am enjoying it. Another thing this “season” does is brings back lots of our vacationing members! I always look forward to seeing the “new” faces at the meetings and activities. What better way to start the season than with our annual October Auction. Looking forward to all the gift baskets, baked goods, handmade gifts and maybe some homemade jam! If you’re new and haven’t been before you won’t want to miss this lively meeting. Need more ideas? Ask other members at our September meeting! We also have lots of activities going on during the month so be sure and read the newsletter and calendar. Anyone interested in a dessert potluck and game nite? It’s in the works! So come join us, it’s the best place for fun and to make lasting friendships. VICE PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE Tom Wilson I don’t know about you but I sure enjoyed our weather this summer, especially having it pretty much smoke free! This month we are going to have Raymond Rosa, President of Operation Rambo. His group provides support to disabled veterans with service dogs. He will be bringing a few dogs with him!! October will be our annual auction so no speaker. November we will have Nick Smith from Greenleaf Industries. December will be our annual Christmas party. I look forward to seeing you Tuesday . WWN LUNCHEON INFORMATION Program is at 11 AM , Luncheon follows. Come early to reserve your seat, socialize, and sign up for activities. Lunch entree is $13, Salad Bar only $9. Program only (with or without beverage) is $2.00. You will need to reserve a seat by Noon on the Sunday before the luncheon. Purchase your luncheon ticket at the meeting with cash or check then give it to the ticket takers at the time of the lunch. If you are a “no show”, you will be billed as we have to give an accurate count to the Wild River Pub Restaurant. Emergencies are an exception. If you have to cancel, please give Trish Bell a call as soon as possible at 541.476.0466.

* ACTIVITIES SIGN-UP TABLE*
When attending the monthly luncheons, visit the table containing the sign up folders for the coming activities. Once you have decided to participate in
a particular activity, make out a check if there is a charge for attending; if you must pay with cash, please give it directly to the person in charge.
Checks should be made out to WWN with an indication on the bottom as to the activity involved.
Once you have committed to attend an activity, the chairperson is counting on your attendance. If for any reason you are unable to continue with this
commitment, please contact the chairman so they can make necessary adjustments. Plans are made for a certain number of people. Please do the polite
thing and don’t drop out at the last minute without advising the chairperson.
REMINDER: wear your badge to all activities and meetings
