Choice of Date: I chose to focus on a date that is significant to the Women’s right movement. I am an American Studies major with “Gender” as my thematic and I have taken multiple courses that examine gender inequality. Therefore, I decided to pick a Newspaper that recognized Women's Suffrage, one of the most important achievements.

Aug 29th- The half century struggle for woman suffrage in the Unites States reached its climax at 8 o'clock this morning, when Bainbridge Colby, as Secretary of State, issued his proclamation announcing that the Nineteenth Amendment had become a part of the Constitution of the United States
