Preparing for the New QCEWhat has happened already?• Teachers, Heads of Department & Admin have engaged in professional learning around:

- implementing the new syllabus documents- assessment writing and marking

• Mansfield has formed a coalition with several similar schools and we are working together to share ideas and strategies.

• Trialled marking schemes and some assessment types in Year 10 during 2017

• HOD planning days and now faculty curriculum days for writing units

Preparing for the New QCEWhat has happened already?

• Year 10 students have:- received the New QCE information flyer with an explanation- been presented with an overview of the new system during

their Student Development Lessons (SDP)- participated in assessment using the

new instrument specific marking guides (ISMG’s)
