Page 4: The Naughty Hand

Milo had lots of friends he liked to play with.

Milo... Buster... Lilly... ...and Owen.

Page 5: The Naughty Hand

They played hide and go seek.

Page 6: The Naughty Hand

They played tag.

Page 7: The Naughty Hand

And sometimes they just screamed and screamed really loud.

Page 8: The Naughty Hand

But Milo had a problem...

Heh, heh!

Page 9: The Naughty Hand

Milo liked to grab his friends’ noses.

Hey!?

Page 10: The Naughty Hand

And when Milo got excited, he grabbed noses a lot.

Page 11: The Naughty Hand

my friends LIKEhaving their noses

grabbed.

Milo said....

Page 12: The Naughty Hand

I don’t like it. I don’t like it,

either. It feels weird.

But Milo’s friends did not like having their noses grabbed.

Page 13: The Naughty Hand

And that’s not all. Sometimes Milo got so excited he pushed, too.

Page 14: The Naughty Hand

Milo’s Mom talked to him A LOT about how important it is to be gentle.

When you push

someone you need to

say you’re sorry. You

need to make it right.

Page 15: The Naughty Hand

Milo’s Dad talked to him A LOT about how to be nice to other people.

You’re not so little

anymore. You can

hurt someone without

meaning to. So, you

have to be gentle.

Okay?

Page 16: The Naughty Hand

But when Milo got excited, he just couldn’t remember to be gentle. When he got excited, he grabbed and pushed his friends.

Page 17: The Naughty Hand

Why is everybody talking to me? I’m not doing anything!

More and more people talked to Milo about being gentle.

His parents talked to him.

Other kids parents talked to him.

His teacher talked to him.

Page 18: The Naughty Hand

Milo began to get really frustrated.

This is totally

unfair! I don’t see why its so important!!!!

Page 19: The Naughty Hand

Then one day, Milo got excited and pushed Owen.

Page 20: The Naughty Hand

Owen got a bad scrape on his knee.

Page 21: The Naughty Hand

Milo said he was sorry. But Owen was hurt and angry.

Why do you

always

push me!

Page 22: The Naughty Hand

That night, Milo’s Mom asked him why he pushed Owen. Milo felt bad.

Page 23: The Naughty Hand

I don’t know what

happened. I’m trying

to be gentle!!!

I get excited and My hand just does what it wants...

Page 24: The Naughty Hand
