• At the dawn of EU’s next Framework Programme the Munic Round Table aims to initiate a dialogue between European MedTech stakeholders, by bringing people from academia and industry together to highlight and discuss current and future challenges in MedTech research and innovation.

Aims

• To develop tangible recommendations for activities and themes that can inspire the European Union in the implementation of the forthcoming framework programme (FP8)

• To gather ideas and suggestions for improvements and new topics that shall be integrated into the next framework programme (FP8)

• The round table will be summarised in a concluding paper. • As a follow up key European MedTech stakeholders interested in

influencing the priorities for FP8 are invited to comment and contribute to the concluding paper.

• The concluding paper will be presented to representatives of the European Commission and the European Parliament at an event in Brussels (late June).
