I love babies! My wife says that while some women worry
about lipstick on their husbands' shirts, she worries about finding spit-ups on my shirts. I could hold and just admire
Greyson, our one-month old grandson. Which I do. I have seen serious looking women, professionally-attired, break into
a big smile and start talking baby talk when they see a baby.
Too many people have this same emotion and reaction to the baby Jesus. Except Jesus was more than a baby. John's gos-
pel starts with, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1) Then in
verse 14, John, inspired by the Holy Spirit, writes, “The Word became flesh and blood and moved in to the neighbor-
hood.” (The Message)
That baby born 2,000 years ago in Bethlehem was the Eternal
God, the Sovereign Lord, the King of kings, the Savior of man-kind, the Alpha and the Omega, the Living Water, the Light of
the World, the Bread of Life, the Lamb of God, the Bright and Morning Star. And he will return as the King and Judge.
When you consider the birth of the Savior, consider who he
really was and is. Worship our beautiful King!

The Kids’ Choir did a wonderful job with their presentation this past Sunday evening. Thanks to all who made their musical possible and thanks also for the $531 that was donated for the Cawa Cawa Chil-dren Christmas Project. This money will help supply necessities for these homeless children from southern Philippines.
