I told this per- son that I would like to see a lot of our people attend all of the sessions-- Friday, Saturday, and the combined Sunday School, and then the worship service. The reason is I have been praying that God would raise up godly men (and women, where the husband is not there) who lead their families in a daily, family time with God, reading the Bible together and praying together. While we want a lot of people to attend all the sessions, the success of the PRAYER CONFERENCE will be measured on how many of our families begin to have a daily time with God. This Sunday, I will give you a sample guide on how to lead your family in a daily time with the Lord. We will also have a guide for individuals. “If You are pleased with me, teach me Your ways so I may know You and continue to find favor with You.” Exodus 33:13 Lakan

Families Spending Time With God. Someone asked me what I expect from our PRAYER CONFERENCE, October 28-30, with Gary & Dana Miller. FAMILIES PRAYING TOGETHER. The one result I would like to see from our upcoming PRAYER CONFERENCE, October 28-30, is for our families to come together in daily prayer. For husbands not just praying for their wives, but also with their wives. Where wives are not just told that they were prayed for, but they actually hear their husbands pray for them and their children. I know that Gary and Dana Miller are bringing this kind of a heart for prayer as they come and lead our PRAYER CONFERENCE. Make plans to be a part of all the sessions we have, Friday, Satur-day and Sunday. Lakan

nify God in the eyes of their children.

Women's session: P.U.S.H. - Dana leads women to take/move to a new level of

intercession for their children and grandchildren.

Session 5 C.A.S.T. - Gary and Dana team teach this session and they will teach the essen-

tials to consistent conversation with God.

INTRODUCTION OF THE PRAYER PARTNER COVENANT - This is a handout that husbands and

dads are given to take home and prayerfully consider using as an instrument to help them become

the prayer leader in their home.

Sunday, Oct. 30

Combined Sunday school (9:30AM)

Men's Session: PRACTICING HIS PRESENCE: How to be spiritual leaders in their

homes.

Women's session: GETTING A GRIP: Due to Dana's personal experiences with her

fight with cancer, she has an immediate connection with women, and they have

A LOT of questions about this issue that must be dealt with from a biblical per-

spective.

Worship Service (10:45AM) TALK LESS! PRAY MORE!

Gary's message challenges people to take the challenge to apply these four

words to their lives. Talking inflates a crisis. Praying places the crisis where it

belongs...in God's hands. Prayers takes the IMpossible and turns transforms it

into the HIMpossible.
