We are very excited about our Catalyst Summer.

The dictionary defines Catalyst as ”somebody or

something that makes a change happen or brings

about an event”. My prayer this summer is that

we can all begin to make a big change in the

hearts of our loved ones, friends, and even

strangers, with the Gospel of Christ. There are

many opportunities this summer to make that

happen. Continued on Page 2

CATALYST SUMMER... (continued from page 1)

We will begin in June and July with

a combined Sunday School for the

youth and up. Our Mission state-

ment is “to make disciples, who

make disciples, who make disci-

ples”. We all know and can recite it

very well, but what does that really

look like and how can I do it? We

will be teaching some ways that

everyone can use to be able to do

this in your life. God has called

each one of us to be discipled and

to disciple others; it’s as easy as liv-

ing life with people and just invest-

ing in them.

There will be other opportunities

to bring a change to others this

summer. June 18th-22nd we will be

going to the Boys and Girls Club

again to share Christ with over 200

kids that need and would love

someone to take time to invest in

their lives.

There are other events and activities

such as HEB Youth Camp, Pre-Teen

Retreat, Wednesday Night Prayer

Meeting, Youth, and Children’s

meetings, all can be enhanced by

your abilities and obedience to the

Lord.

Closing out the summer we will host

a cook-out once again at the lake.

This will be a time we can feed, love

on, and given the opportunity, share

the Gospel with many that may not

know the Lord.

Please begin praying now that God

will give you a heart for the lost, and

the desire to see them come to

know him.

I am looking forward with great

excitement to see what God is going

to do through us this summer!
