Why the Mass? A Gift from Jesus

Jesus promised his Apostles he would never leave them alone

On the night before he died on the Cross Jesus gathered his Disciples together for a very special meal

At the meal Jesus took bread and told the Apostles this is my Body. He took the cup and said this is my Blood

Jesus told his Apostles to continue to do what he was doing in this meal. This is why we celebrate the Mass.
