The Process

Minimum Rest Periods

• 10 hrs in any 24 hr– Max 2 periods, one > 6 hrs

• 77 in any 7 day period

• May still be over-ridden by Master

• Administration may allow reduction to 70 hrs in 7 days for 2 weeks and rest in two 24 hr periods to be taken in 3 periods

• Signed records to be maintained
