Approximately 20 percent of teens will experience depression before they reach adulthood.Depression increases a teen’s risk for attempting suicide by 12 times.30 percent of teens with depression also develop a substance abuse problem.More teenagers and young adults die from suicide than from cancer, heart disease, AIDS, birth defects, stroke, pneumonia, influenza, and chronic lung disease, COMBINED.Each day in our nation, there are an average of over 3,470 attempts by young people grades 9-12.

Citizens passed legislation to add more fine arts activities to promote healthy masculinity.

“Being a good citizen is more than just knowing the political process and getting involved in your community, it starts with being a good person. It’s about treating people with respect, and holding yourself to a high standard. It’s about being the best version of yourself you can be and being there for others. Badger Boys has taught me a lot this week, but this is the kind of thing I know I can take back to my home town and make a difference with right away. I love you guys.”
