Founded in 1837, the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MICCI) is Malaysia's longest established trade association. The Chamber’s nearly 1000 corporate members come from some 30 countries including Malaysia, and represent all business activities including manufacturing, services and professionals. Dr. Veerinderjeet Singh is acknowledged as a leading tax specialist in Malaysia. He is the Founder and Chairman of Taxand Malaysia Sdn Bhd, a tax consulting firm which is a member of the Taxand Global Organisation of independent tax firms in nearly 50 countries.

With over 30 years of experience in the tax profession as a consultant, academician, author and tax observer – Dr Veerinderjeet has a perspective of the tax field that is unique and complete.  

He has served in the Malaysian Income Tax Department, was an Associate Professor in taxation at the University of Malaya and an Executive Director/ Partner at some of the largest tax consulting firms in Malaysia.

He had also been a visiting Associate Professor at the University of Newcastle in New South Wales, Australia, and a Visiting Scholar at the International Tax Program at Harvard University, U.S.A. He was elected as a member of the Taxand Board in 2009 and looks after the Knowledge & Training aspects of the organisation.

He has been cited in World Tax 2009, 2010 and 2011 (published by the International Tax Review) on the world’s leading tax firms.
