The FELLOWSHIP.

The fellowship of the ring was made up of five races:

HOBBITS ELVES MEN DWARVES AND

WIZARDS

Aragorn Aragorn, son of

Arathorn, is heir to the throne of Gondor.

When he was young, Elrond, Lord of Rivendale, took him in. While there he fell in love with Arwen , daughter of Elrond.

He must now take back what is his, the crown of Gondor

FRODO BAGGINS The nephew of Bilbo

Baggins, Frodo was an adventurous lad. When Bilbo left the Shire, he gave the one ring to Frodo.

Frodo must go to Mount Doom to destroy it before it destroys him.

SAM ‘WISE’ GAMGEE Frodo’s gardener,

Sam is a quiet hobbit but not nosey.

Sam and Frodo embark on a quest with the rest of the fellowship to destroy the ring. Sam is very courageous and will stick by Frodo to what ever end.

Gandalf

Gandalf the Grey was one of the Fellowship until he was killed by the Balrog in Moria.

He came back as Gandalf the White who rode to Minas Trith to save the people of Gondor with Pippin.

legolas

The prince of Mirkwood uses his bow and arrows better than any one in Middle-Earth.

After the journey to save Middle-Earth he was a friend of a Dwarf, Gimli son of Gloin.

GIMLI

Gimli, son of Gloin, was one of the Fellowship of the Ring until it parted.

He went with Aragorn and Legolas to the King of the Dead.

He befriend the Elf Legolas.

Merry Merry is a hobbit

and cousin of Frodo and Pippin. He was one of four hobbits to be in the fellowship.

Merry rode with Ewoyn to the battle of Pleannor Fields were he saved her life from the Witch King.

pippin

Pippin is Merry and Frodo’s cousin. He was one of four hobbits in the fellowship.

He rode to Minas Trith with Gandalf and lit the biken so Rohan would come to fight.

BOROMIR

Boromir, son of Denethor, carried the horn of Gondor. He is the last of the fellowship.

He tried to take the ring from Frodo but died trying to save Merry and Pippin.

Rohan

Rohan is near Gondor.

The Riders of Rohan ride on horses that’s why they are the horse lords.

The king of Rohan is King Thoeden.

EOMER

Eomer is heir to the throne of Rohan. He is a strong Captain and fearless in battle.

He rides to Minas Trith with the Rohirrm to save Middle-Earth. Eomer becomes King of Rohan after King Thoeden is slain.

KING THOEDEN

King Thoeden is king of Rohan, he is a strong and powerful leader.

He rides to Minas Trith but the Witch King knocks him down,and he is slain when his horse lands onto of him.

Ewoyn

Ewoyn is niece to King Thoeden. She dresses up as a man so she can fight outside Minas Trith.

In front of the wounded King Thoeden, she slays the Witch King.

GAMLING and hama Gamling and

Hama where two of King Thoeden's captains.

Hama was killed by a warg but Gamling rode to Minas Trith and lived to tell the tale.

Gondor

The throne of Gondor has not been in the hands of a king but of stewards.

Gondor has very few warriors but is as strong as Rohan.

Denethor

Denethor was driven crazy by Sauron who showed him that Gandalf and Aragorn were enemies of Gondor.

He took his own life.

Faramir Faramir, son of

Denethor, was the least favourite of the two brothers.

He rode out of Minas Trith with 200 men and nearly perished to gain his father respect.

elendil Elendil was the

King of the Anor.

He had two sons, Isildur and Aron. Elendil and Aron both were killed fighting against Sauron.

mordor The land of the

Dark Lord, Sauron.

The Dark Lord summons from near and far a army as big as in the second age.

Sauron

The Dark Lord. Once a great soldier, Sauron lost power and became a ball of fire that was a eye.

RINGRAITHS The most loyal of

Sauron’s servants. The ringraiths were once king’s of men but were twisted and turned by the rings of power Sauron gave them.

Witchking

The Witch King of Agamar, the most deadly of Sauron’s servants. They say no man can kill him.

He fell at the hands of Ewoyn.

orcs

The army of Sauron is mainly made up of orcs, the first orcs were Elves that were twisted by evil.

Smaller versions of Uruk-Hai, orcs are afraid of the sun light.

Uruk-Hai

Uruk-Hai are taller much sturdy than orcs.

Though orcs can not stand the light, Uruk-Hai can stand the heat of it’s rays.

easterlings

Men from the North. Easterlings fight for Sauron because they are treated fairly. They have been promised riches and power beyond belief.
