Page 13: The Lord of The Flies Resources. Chapter Two 1. Jack denies Piggy the right to speak, but Ralph says he can because he is holding the conch. What is Golding.

Using these techniques, describe the scene after a serious accident has taken place.  It could be in the school yard, a road, skiing, mountaineering… In order to do this successfully you must:

Imagine that you are a camera, picturing the scene.

Do not write the phrase ‘you could see’.

Do not use the word ‘you’, be assertive, use ‘The’ instead.

Include a range of sentence structures and as much different sentence structures as you can.

Make sure you include COLORS, the SENSES, Weather, a description of a character, about 2 lines of dialogue.

Your description must be one A-4 page, no shorter or longer and consist of three  - five paragraphs.

On completion, underline all of the techniques that you have included.
