Messages – From – Executive, Committees, Membership Nominations / Elections From the Club Operations Committee Ladies Night

Our April Business Meeting is, as you all know, election time for the Club Executive that will lead us for the Lions year 2007 - 2008. It sure is a pleasure that the committee can let you know that most of the positions are filled either by members moving up the executive ladder or by members voluntarily taking an interest in the operations of our club. Thank you! The only position that still needs to be filled is 3rd Vice President and it sure would be nice if someone would volunteer for that position also. Please think about it and discuss the possibility with your spouse. We hope to hear from someone at the meeting. We will still have nominations for various positions and we hope we can have a few elections just to make it a little more interesting. The Operations Committee Nominations & Elections Delaware Lions Club - Ladies Night will be on Friday, May 4th, 2007. The format will be like last year but without a guest speaker. Doors open at 6:00 pm for some refreshments and dinner at 7:00 pm, followed by some games and just socializing. We will pass a list at the business and dinner meetings for members to sign up. If you are unable to attend these meetings please let Lion John Goertz know by the April Dinner Meeting if you will attend or not - so that we know how many meals to order and how to set up the room. The cost will be $50.00 per couple - everything included. The money will be collected that evening. Thanks Lions for your support with these events! The Operations Committee

Dues We are into the tail-end of our Lions year and the Treasurer reports that some Dues are still outstanding. If you are one of these Lions, please pay them so that Lion Ross can get this part of his books closed for this year. Membership Committee
