3 What is meant by readily available? This is a subjective statement that leaves room tointerpretation. Is readily available when listed on only the website, student policy manual, ordocument provided to students? Or must the item be provided in all 3 locations to individualsinvolved?

1 I do not agree that the term Clinical Instructor should be replaced with Clinical Preceptor. Anexplanation as to why would be helpful. In our institution, the term preceptor is used in nursingwhen RN's serve as preceptors to graduate nurses, not nursing students. So, without a significantreason to do this - I believe it is unnecessary and will lead to much confusion. With the previousrequirement to evaluate all clinical instructors, why is this now optional if the clinical instructor(preceptor) is also a staff technologist?????

2 I really like the program faculty/clinical staff chart and faculty/clinical staff responsibilities. I'm veryhappy to see them both listed under the same standard. This makes it much easier to locate, printor share electronically with everyone.

1 Although I understand the thoughts behind increasing the benchmarks to 80%, this increaseimpacts programs with small numbers of students the most. For example, in the case ofcredentialing exam pass rate, if one or two students do not pass the first time, the program maynot meet the benchmark. Increasing these benchmarks has more of a punitive feel to it, ratherthan a "strive for excellence" nudge. In the case of program completion rate, the expanded criteriadoes help in accounting for nonacademic reasons.

2 I believe that the Benchmark for registry and completion should be 75% with a 3 year average. Jobplacement should not have a benchmark because we do not know what will happen with theeconomy.

4 I think a template developed by the JRCERT would be a helpful tool with regard to thedevelopment of an appropriate assessment plan. Also I think it would be very helpful if theJRCERT would do a webinar during one of their accreditation/ assessment plan developmentsessions for those of us who find it difficult to travel to Chicago to attend.

5 I think it would be nice if the JRCERT would give us a standard template that we could use just tofill in our assessment plan of what the board wnats to see.
