The Journey Within

This is my SOUL

My MIND deciphers it’s wishes…

…my BODY acts it out

5 gates exist between the inner and outer

Be careful what you allow in…

…before strange thoughts begin

Though I’ve tried to push back

endlessly they attack

…but a place exists, that’s all your own…

…it is your kingdom

…it is your kingdom

…and thought

…becomes reality

It always begins with a thought

…the soul forms the desire,

the mind interprets it,

the body acts it out…

The body like a horse,

With the mind as a saddle…

The soul holds the reigns

And rides this beast into battle

This is the Mind…logical, grid-like

And this, the Soul…pulsating with life and will

And this the body; the battleground of mind and soul

And the battle begins

“I want to eat, but I’m on a diet”

“I want to smoke,

But I shouldn’t”

“I should

workout, but

I’d rather

watch TV”“I want”

“But I can’t, I

shouldn’t”

“I wish”

“What do I

want?”

…quiet

And take a deep breath…

Every alluring flower here has it’s thorn…

Do you want a fulfilling life?

Protect your senses: sight, sound, taste, touch, breath
