A presentation at Right to Know Week 2014 Calgary hosted by the Province of Alberta's Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner. The presentation detailed the origination and journey of open data at the City of Calgary from my personal point of view, including the philosophy and economics driving my belief in open data and how open data was received by city council, the tech community in Calgary and The City's Administration, as well as thoughts on the future role open data will play at The City of Calgary.
