Workshops and Events: Master Class Use a train-the-trainer model in response to audience needs and lessons learned: • Train, enable, and support a cohort of JWST proposal planning experts who are
geographically and insItuIonally dispersed (e.g., soL-money, universiIes, government labs, etc.), to ensure local access to a large percentage of the JWST user base between the Cycle 1 General Observer Call for Proposals at the end of 2019 and the proposal deadline in spring of 2020.
• Develop a community of JWST Master Class graduates who are able to transfer knowledge via local training workshops to proposers who in turn will be able to propose effecIvely and enhance the science return from JWST.
• Increase engagement of the broader user community with STScI tools and user support at the opImum Ime in the proposal preparaIon process.
• Proposals for Master Class due June 3, 2019! NOTE: You will need to host training locally!! Full travel support offered for course.

Additional Proposal Support for Planetary Science
• Master’s Workshop offered by STScI – apply to a[end. There will be online availability to parIcipate remotely.
• ESA is planning to also offer a Master’s Class – should be announced soon and will be held Spring 2020.
• DPS/EPSC meeIng in Geneva, Switzerland (15-20 September 2019): • Proposal Workshop being proposed for Sunday aLernoon (last DPS workshop before
the GO Cycle 1 deadline!). • Townhall – status update and some highlights/updates on tools for proposal planning.
• We are curious if there is interest to have another Online-Only proposal workshop for the community in the Spring of 2020 (or closer to the proposal deadline – please let me know!).
