• During this period there were a lot of inventions created like
o Interchangeable Parts for a Musket- Eli Whitney
o Sewing Machine- Elias Howe
o Light bulb –Thomas Edison
o Telephone- Alexander Graham Bell
o Engine – James Watt
o Airplane –Orville and Wilbur Wright
o Telegraph- Samuel F. B. Morse
o Model T Ford, Assembly Line- Henry Ford
o Cotton Gin- Eli Whitney

-The Industrial Revolution changed agriculture, textiles, coal mining, iron, transportation, steam, human aspect, capital, and labor.
-The agricultural revolution changed farming methods to produce more food cheaper with less labor.
-The light bulb made a huge impact on the people in the 1800s. Before the invention of the light bulb a main source of light was candle light. This allowed people to work earlier and later into the day. The addition allowed ships to travel safer at night.
-Improvements were made to the industrial process therefore, accelerating the production of cotton. The cotton gin required less effort to make more cotton
