The importance of stakeholder management in the construction sector getting more attention to it in recent years . According to ( Ei - Gohary et al . , 2006 ; Olander, 2007 ), many research are done but a comprehensive critical review of the stakeholder management process has not been prepared . This research is to discover what is the process of stakeholder management in construction industry and what are the challenges of implementing stakeholder management in construction industry . ABSTRACT INTRODUCTION RESEARCH FRAMEWORK THE IMPLIMENTATION OF STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT IN MANAGING PROJECTS IN CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY ONG YONG CHEE (PB13050) Construction project involved many complex stakeholder management activities . However, with a good implementation of stakeholder management it will be easier to manage those stakeholder to achieve a successful project . Researchers are struggling with applying the previous methods and tools of stakeholder management construction projects, but did not analyze the weakness and problems in existing studies on stakeholder management . Thus, the study aims to identify the process of stakeholder management in managing projects in construction industry and to analyze the challenges of implementing stakeholder management when managing project in construction industry . This research proposed some suggestions to organization on how to manage stakeholders in construction industry . RO 1 : To identify the process of stakeholder management in managing projects in construction industry . RO 2 : To analyze the challenges of implementing stakeholder management when managing project in construction industry . OBJECTIVES RESULTS The first objective of this research is to identify the process of stakeholder management in managing projects in constructio n i ndustry. The following objective is to analyze the challenges of implementing stakeholder management when managing project in construction in dustry. Both of the objectives are successfully achieved. • Recommend for future research, to be done in other industries, such as, service industry, manufacturing industry, and automotive industry. • Project team members must maintain a good relationship between stakeholders to ensure every tasks are successfully done. • Limitation of study: Time constraint , availability of respondent.
