APA Office 409-762-1115 www.apagalv.org Superintendent, Dr. Pat Williams 2014 Grand Kids Fest Banner Design Contest Winner (Grades 7-8) Jyle Matthew Lubrico’s banner was featured at the ArtWalk in downtown Galveston on January 18 th Anthony Rudd, Lalo Alcazar, Lehya Williams, Destiny Pinesette, Taylor Williams, Salma Arriaga, Christian Sumlin, Alexia Jackson, and Marquez Holmes for participating in the 6 th grade Parent Meeting on Thursday, January 16 and joining “Can You Imagine Me?” A Healthy Eating and Physical Activity Program sponsored by the Gulf Coast Apollo Chapter of the Links, Inc. to develop healthy eating habits and activities within the family. Participants in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade on Saturday, January 18 th were APA Cheerleaders Kennedy Taylor, Madison Webb, Bri’ana Goodwin, Abeni Boyer, Raven Mays, Angelina Barrientes, Zoe Baber, Aliyah Hamilton, Adrianna Sifuentes, Roselyn Gonzales, Veronia Garcia, and Diamond Pinesette, and sponsors, Ms. Goodwin and Ms. Barker. Also celebrating MLK, Jr. were Daniel Pinesette playing his tuba and praise dancing by Diamond and Destiny Pinesette.
