The holidays in this brochure are operated by Gulf Air Holidays, a division of Gulf Air. In the following conditions, the term ‘Company’ means Gulf Air (Gulf Air Holidays), and the term ‘Customer’ means the signatory on these booking conditions, signed at the time of payment. The conditions apply to all holiday bookings accepted by the Company and cannot be varied by any of its employees.Your travel agent has a duty and responsibility to ensure you are fully aware of these terms and conditions, prior to making any booking or payment CUSTOMER’S BOOKING A.A booking is accepted by the company only when it issues a Confirmation letter with attached itinerary and invoice. When the outstanding amount has been paid in full, the company will issue the relevant documentation. The customer will be required to present this to the relevant hotel, car hire or other suppliers of ground services included in the booking in order to obtain the relevant services. Only services shown on the relevant documentation will be provided. B.Where a booking is made directly by a customer with the company, communications will be sent to that customer only, and no other passengers travelling on the booking. Where a booking is made through a travel agent, communications will be sent to the agent, who, as regards communications from the company to the customer is the agent of the customer. All monies paid to the travel agent are held by it as an agent of the customer until such time as the booking may be accepted by the company and thereafter as agent of the company. C.Your booking status can be in one of two status’s only : Quotation: Where a price is quoted but no availability is secured. Confirmed: Where a price is quoted, services are all secured and a Confirmation letter, itinerary and invoice has been issued. WHEN TO PAY Full payment is required within 24 hours Of Gulf Air Holidays confirming the availability of all requested services. WHATS INCLUDED All our prices are in the currency shown, are per person and include all services indicated in the itinerary we issue in relation to any enquiry, subject to you providing us with a valid e-mail address or fax number. Breakfast is included, where indicated. ANY other charges, other than those stated as inclusive are the sole responsibility of the passenger, including visa fees, airport and air taxes and personal insurance. CHILD & 3rd ADULT SHARING Child & 3rd Adult policies vary according to each hotels individual policy, and will be advised at the time of enquiry and in the itinerary we issue in relation to any enquiry. AVAILABILITY All prices, services and facilities are subject to availability and/or change. Accommodation availability on arrival and departure in destination is based on international guidelines but is not guaranteed. Check-in: 14:00 Check- out: 11:00. SPECIAL REQUESTS Should any of your party have a special request, these should be requested at the time of enquiry and subsequently if you decide to confirm your booking. While we make every effort to make such arrangements, special requests cannot be guaranteed and in many cases are subject to availability. CANCELLATIONS 1-Cancellations by the Customer of confirmed bookings will only be accepted in writing, quoting the correct booking reference: The following charges will apply in the event of cancellation: - (a) From time of confirmation/receipt of full payment to 46 days prior to departure: 50 % of total event package cost. (b) 45 days or less prior to departure:100% of total event package cost. AMENDMENTS BY CUSTOMER’S Amendments (should be with no further liabilities upon the company and subject to availability) to a booking can be made prior to receipt of final payment, without charge. Changes made after receipt of final payment will be treated as cancellations and our stated cancellation charges will apply. INSURANCE As this is not the responsibility of Gulf Air Holidays, we recommend that travel insurance cover is obtained by you directly. Please ask your travel agent or insurance broker for a suitable policy. The purchase of a reputable insurance policy can mean that in the case of any cancellation charges being incurred, you may be able to make a valid claim on your insurance policy and re-coup any or all of your losses. AMENDMENTS BY GULF AIR HOLIDAYS In the event of your chosen property being unable to provide the accommodation confirmed to you, Gulf Air Holidays will do our utmost to arrange alternative accommodation of a similar standard. However, if the alternative is not acceptable, you are entitled to cancel your holiday and we will refund all monies paid. UNUSED SERVICES In the case of unused services, no refund is applicable. REFUNDS In the unlikely event of a supplier not providing booked services and where a refund is due, claims should be made by writing to: Gulf Air Holidays, Gulf Air Worldwide Contact Centre (WWCC), Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM), Al Rusayl, PO Box 990,PC 132, Sultanate Of Oman or gfholidays@ gulfairco.com.om. Claims should be received within 30 days of your return date and should include your booking reference (eg GH 1234), the lead name on the booking and dates of travel. COMPANY’S RESPONSIBILITY AND CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE A.GENERAL l.The company does not accept, and hereby excludes, all liability for the acts or omission whether negligent or otherwise of airlines, coach operators, tour operators, cruise/ excursion companies, hoteliers or any person providing foods or services in connections with any bookings unless such person is either employed by it and acting within the scope of his/her employment or is its agent under its control. ll.The company accepts no liability for any loss or damage caused by events beyond its control. lll.Where properties are not featured within this brochure the company will not be liable for any claims that such properties booked by the customers specific request do not meet the customers expectations. B.THIRD PARTY CONDITIONS l.The company is not itself a provider of accommodation, ground services or tours nor does it control the third parties who provides such services in connection with the customers holiday. ll. All bookings are accepted and all arrangements are made by the company subject to the following: (A) all conditions imposed from time to time by airlines, sea, rail and surface transportation carriers, car rental companies and/or providers of accommodation met. Catering and other services or other facilities connected with a booking and their associated conditions will apply to the customer as if they were incorporated into these conditions (B) any applicable law, direction, directive or order imposed from time to time by any competent authority. lll.Some of the third party conditions referred to above seek to exclude or limit liability of the third party concerned (For instance, the liability of airlines for personal injury (including death) or loss or damage to property and baggage is usually limited by conditions contained within the airlines ticket and conditions of carriage (and/or) by operation of the applicable law). lV. Carriage of air by the company in terms, conditions and provisions in (or referred to in) the company’s ticket shall apply in respect of carriage of a customer by the company. BROCHURE ACCURACY We carefully check all aspects of the information contained within Gulf Air Holidays colour brochures and any other literature, and are correct, to the best of our knowledge, at the time of going to print. However, facilities available within hotels, flight times and excursions may vary due to demand, religious events and seasonal variations. Such changes are beyond our control and we accept no liability to their occurrence for them. COMPLAINTS If you have cause to complain, please do so when and with whom you experience the problem. Our suppliers will do their utmost to resolve any issues at the time they occur.
