Things change. That’s why smart companies position for the future but have the flexibility to re-evaluate current methods of managing their business. Incentive Solutions understands that every business' needs differ and evolve over time. Rather than prescribing a single approach, we support our clients with a range of incentive, reward and event management products all designed to maximize motivation and move businesses towards their objectives. Our thinking is that success in a service business is based on the combination of smart people, personal service, inventive thinking, technological savvy, negotiation know-how and good marketing instincts along with some good-old common sense. Lastly, we pride our-selves on being a trustworthy, knowledgeable business partner that looks out for our clients’ best interests and helps them to realize net results.

12. Explain which of your core capabilities differentiates you from your competitors, and could add the most value to your company and why. Please be sure to include any niche or specialty capabilities few of your competitors offer.

The very large companies like BCD M&I and Maritz might provide the level of personal attention that Incentive Solutions can provide; we are not encumbered by hierarchy. With ISI’s one-to-one approach you will meet your Senior Account Manager in person here or at your offices and that person will be your constant contact from start to finish, including the on-site operation and final accounting. She will be supported by a team that will work in unison to serve you and your best performers for a hugely successful outcome. If you need her to come by, she will and with the entire team if necessary. We are flat in structure and our empowered employees can make im-portant decisions immediately to serve your best interests. Additionally, our line-item and open-book approach keeps you in control of your spend at all times. Lastly, our long term relation-ships with our Italian hotel and destination management company (DMC) partners will be of great benefit to you. Some of these relationships date back 30 or more years with the same principals.

Site Sourcing and Contracting

20. Please provide a description of your company’s process for sourcing & contracting an international incen-tive event.

We utilize a robust purchasing real time software solution called Cvent for the initial hotel re-quests for pricing and availability. For the destination components like transfers, activities and dine-arounds we contact our trusted partners in Italy or elsewhere directly and request their most creative ideas and best pricing. On air transportation we work with our partner Travel Inc. to negotiate and contract the best solution based on where you winners originate. Where nec-essary we can contract with a specific carrier for the space required. Once you have selected our firm, we go through a secondary process we call “Repurchasing” where we further negotiate all rates. It is most effective if we can do this in conjunction with the first site inspection so that much of this can be done face-to-face with all the providers in Italy. The outcome will be better from a savings and relationship standpoint.

21. How do you leverage you overall business spend volume to increase value to you provide to your cus-tomers?

Through Cvent, for example, the system captures all of our volume for specific hotel brands and organizations from which we can derive volume reports. We do utilize this information and apply that with our positive personal relationships in order to achieve the best possible pur-chase on your behalf.

With regards to trip materials that are our responsibility we can produce and provide, but are not limited too:

All in-voices are 30-day net and can be delivered electronically or manually.

Rome Walking Tour

This tour is composed of a lovely and relaxing walk through the little inner streets vis-iting monuments of immeasurable beauty and importance. We begin by the Trevi Fountain, famous for its legend that if three coins are thrown into the water, a return to Rome is certain. One of the most beautiful fountains in all of Rome, the Trevi Foun-tain was made in the Baroque style by Nicola Salvi in 1762 and has, among other things, a beautiful statue representing the Ocean. We then proceed to the Spanish Steps, with its hour glass-shaped square representing one of the most popular spots in the city. Built in 1726 by Francesco De Sanctis, we will climb the stairs to admire an Egyptian obelisk called “Obelisco Sallustiano,” as well as the church Trinità dei Monti with a 16th Century façade by Carlo Maderno.

Welcome Reception and Tour

Nothing says “Welcome to Rome” like some authentic Italian pizza and pasta! Tonight you will gather with your friends and coworkers to enjoy the flavors of Rome. Sip on wine and drink in the night as we celebrate the start of the Great Escape!

Classic Rome Tour

Today we take you for visiting the Roman classic sights starting with the Trevi Fountain. It is the most majestic of the Roman fountains.

Let’s continue with the Spanish Steps. The elegant staircase consists of 137 steps over twelve different flights. It has a symmetric, albeit irregular structure. At the bottom of the Spanish Steps is the Piazza di Spagna or Span-ish square. The long, triangular square is named after the Spanish Embassy to the Holy See.

Walking around the most elegant shopping streets in Rome, passing the ancient column of Marcus Aurelius whose relieves tell the episodes of the famous battle set in the movie "Gladiator", we reach Pantheon. The best preserved Roman monument, it was later turned into a church and then into our kings’ mausoleum.

The tour continues and ends once we reach the Navona Square. This is the most Baroque of the Roman squares. You’ll see a masterpiece by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, with the fountain of the four Rivers. Then we’ll move onto the Piazza della Rotonda for visiting the best preserved

monument of antiquity, the Pantheon, dating back to the II century AD.

The Vatican City is the world’s smallest sovereign state with one of the richest art collections in the world, gath-ered by popes throughout the centuries. After a brief history and a visit of the courtyard, we enter the Museum and we admire the Candelabra gallery, the Tapestry gallery and the Geographical Map gallery, where we have a glimpse of the exquisite gardens of the Pope. We will soon reach the world renowned Sistine Chapel, built in 1473 by the order of Pope Sistus IV (hence the name) as a private chapel for the popes.

Directly from within the Sistine Chapel we walk outside and into the St Peters Square and Basilica, for a visit. At the end we can transfer the guests back to the hotel or closer to downtown for lunch and shopping.

This visit provides the opportunity to enter the Colosseum and to see where heroic gladiators and fierce animals challenged each other until death, thousands of years ago, purely for the pleasure of the Emperor and the public. After the Colosseum, we move on to the Forum, which used to represent the heart and centre of Ancient Rome. We walk by the Senate House, where the destiny of the Western World was decided, and see the very spot where Marc’Antonio delivered his famous “Friends, Romans, Countrymen” ora-tion on the assassination of Julius Cesar. The tour then continues to the Arch of Titus, which commemorates the Emperor’s victory over Jerusalem in 72AD; followed by the Arch of Constantine, commemorating the conversion of Pagan Rome to Christianity.

No journey through Ancient Rome would be complete without a visit to Circus Maximus. We drive by this famous site, where images of chariot races dance through our minds, followed by Teatro Marcello, a forerunner of the Colosseum.

Then, in order to appropriately close this fascinating journey back in time, we head to Piazza Venezia, where we find ourselves jolted back into modern Rome. The enormous white marble monument to King Victor Emmanuel II built at the turn of the century looms across the Piazza. With the Colosseum in close proximity, we are given a final reminder of how eternal and ever-lasting this amazing city truly is.

l’Archeologia

l’Archeologia is immersed in the wonderful Antique Appian Park and the grand Roman tomb ruin is like a stage in this superb garden, dominated by a majestic wisteria that for over 300 years has bloomed, creating a

delicious and fresh shade.

The Archeologia is a mix between culture and cuisine, between modern and antique, between good food and love for our history. The restaurant was founded around 1890, as a witness there is a photo taken in 1895 that

one can admire in the Scipio Hall.

During your two-hour lesson, your gladiator instructor will teach you how to fight with authentic weapons used by the gladiators of ancient Rome. Lessons are organized and led by members of the Historic Group of Rome who specialize in the re-enactment of Roman life and gladiatorial combat.

Dine Around Via Veneto

For this dine around we would go to the Via Veneto, the street of glamour! Via Veneto is one of the most famous streets in Rome, Italy. The official name is via Vittorio Veneto, after the Battle of Vittorio Veneto. Federico Fellini's classic 1960 film La Dolce Vita was mostly centered around the Via Veneto area.

This made the street famous in the 1960s–1970s and turned it into a center for upmarket cafes and shops. Following a period of stagnation in the 1980s the street has now found a new life. Today some of Rome's best hotels are located there.

Via Veneto is home to the famous Café de Paris and Harry's Bar, immortalized in Federico Fellini's La Dolce Vita, as well known haunts for celebrities in Rome.

After a final Roman breakfast, you will be transferred to Roma Termini where you will board a train to Flor-ence. Relax in your first class seats and enjoy the scenery along the way.

Florence City Orientation Tour and The David

We begin our tour by walking through the historic center to see and feel its rich history. Our expert guide will take us to the Fine Arts Academy to see the jewel of the Florentine Renais-sance- Michelangelo’s incredible statue of “The David,” carved between 1501 and 1504. We then make our way to the Cathedral, followed by the Baptistery with its famous bronze “Doors of Paradise”. The Cathedral as we see it today is the end result of years of work that covered over six centuries of history.

We then walk towards Piazza della Signoria, the open-air museum of Florence and political center since the Middle Ages. Without a doubt one of the most beautiful squares in this wonderful city, its ideal location near all of the city’s museums and principal monuments have made it a famous meeting point for years. We make our way towards the Straw Market and the picturesque shop-lined bridge, Il Ponte Vecchio, which is famous for its selection of gold and silver. Siena & San Gimignano

One of the most popular not-to-be-missed excursions! A trip back in time discovering hidden beauties, unique landscapes and famous villages, are all found in Siena and San Gimignano.

We drive through the famous Chianti region, enjoying the view of the ever-changing scenery of grape-clad hills and olive groves.

Siena is a medieval town with a magical atmosphere. During the mid-dle-ages it was one of the most powerful banking cities of the world, featuring some of the most important pieces of Italian art. Here you will admire the Cathedral, the Town Hall, the world's oldest bank and many masterpieces of Italian painters and sculptures.

After Siena (lunch can either be served in Siena or San Gimignano area), we proceed to San Gimignano, the famous town of the fine towers, considered one of the main attractions in the region and another medieval jewel.

With its silhouette raising from the hills of the Upper Elsa Valley and its original XIV century town planning and architecture still almost intact, San Gimignano stems above all from the continuity of its history.

It is thanks to this continuity that 15 out of the 72 towers can still be admired today in a mixture of antique noble houses, narrow lanes and squares. One of these, Piazza della Cisterna (built in 1327) is un-doubtedly the most beautiful of the town.

A Day Experiencing the Racing World

Opened in 1990, the Ferrari Gallery is located in Maranello, just two hours and thirty-minutes outside of Florence. Since 1995, the museum has been managed directly by Ferrari and has recently been modified to add a more dynamic quality to the museums displays, reflecting the spirit of the company in its desire to al-ways progress, improve and tackle new challenges. The gallery is divided into a number of rooms, which are devoted to the exhibition of historic cars, Formula 1 cars and modern Grand Tourers. Also on display are a selection of trophies, technical drawings, films and photographs in addition to a Ferrari Shop which contains original Ferrari items available for purchase.

Guests will begin their tour with an English-speaking guide at the section devoted to Enzo Ferrari and the legend he created during his 55-year career. Guests will then proceed to the second section of the museum which is devoted to Formula 1 cars of the past and the present, as well as to the cups and trophies which have been accumulated at race tracks all over the world. The next part of this interesting tour takes guests to the highlights of modern road cars, displaying sophisticated mechanical and electrical components for competi-tions, including models made to scale. This fascinating journey comes to a close at the Ferrari Gallery’s amphitheatre which is used for a variety of themed displays.

Hot-Air Ballooning in Tuscany and Wine Tasting at Torciano Winery

The launch site is situated along this road close to the geographic center of the Chianti region: Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, 12 miles south of Florence on the hills along the Pesa valley. It is located at the ancient crossroads of two Roman roads -- the "Via Cassia" leading from Florence to Siena and on to Rome, and the Via del Chianti towards San Donato and Castellina in Chianti. From here, you will fly over the legendary Chianti landscape with its hilltop towns, castles, valleys, famous vineyards, and mixed woodlands. A powerful landscape, it is one of the most civilized rural scenes on earth with cultivated tranquillity of olives, vines, and corn. The olives' silver and the many variegated shades of green appear as a veil over elemental majesty and silence. On clear days in the distance you can see Florence to the North and the Apennine mountain range in the background; to the West you can see the Elsa valley, San Gimignano, Certaldo, and Volterra and the sea in the far dis-tance; to the South, Poggibonsi, Colle Val d'Elsa and Siena and Monte Amiata in the distance; to the East the higher Monti del Chianti and mixed oak woodlands. We will then proceed to San Gimignano the incredible me-dieval walled city, famous for its numerous noble watch towers incorporated right into the city walls. A network of secret passages connected the city’s various wealthy families in times of danger and today, these pictur-esque alleys and views make the town a photographer’s paradise. We will have the opportunity to explore this Tuscan city, known for its wonderful pottery, linens, silks, gold and silver. After leaving San Gimagnano, we will stop at the Torciano Winery for a nice wine and oil tasting and lunch. (Note: if too late we will do lunch first and tour afterwards).

On the Steps of the Medici’s Villas

Join us today for a discovery tour of the world famous villas that were built and belong to the Medici family. We depart from Florence and make our way to Poggio a Caiano, a true 1400’ jewel, designed by Giuliano da San-gallo for Lorenzo il Magnifico between 1473 and 1477 and finished under the Medici Pope Leone X. This villa is a fine example of the patrician country residence.

Having visited the villa we board the coach heading to the Artimino for a view from the outside of the Villa Ar-timino and have lunch at the restaurant nearby.

Having enjoyed lunch, we board the coach and depart for a visit of the Villa Medicea della Petraia, a property that bought in 1575 by the Medic and later became one of their summer residences after a careful restoration by the architect Buontalenti.

The inside court, surrounded by five arcades, shows a series of 1600’ frescoes celebrating the greatness of the family, and the ground floor public rooms are still fully furnished to the taste of the Savoia family – late sov-ereigns of Italy. The beautiful garden was designed by Tribolo and hosts a statue of Venus by Giambologna.

The alternative to the villa Pietraia coud be the Villa Medicea di Castello: bought by the Medici in 1477, the villa was restored in 1537 and counts now on a beautiful garden, designed by Tribolo, with fountains, water-works, statues (among which “Il Gennaio” by Ammannati) and a large collection of citrus fruits. Here you find frescoes by Andrea Del Saro, Allori, Franciabigio and Pontormo.

Dinner at Castello di Vincigliata

The first notes of the Vincigliata castle date back to the year 1000. Its most recent history starts in 1840 when, Lord John Templer Leader discovered an ancient medieval ruin, by that time it was only the tower of the Vin-cigliata Castle.

He decided that this magnificent fortress should be the place of reception for his noble friends, and today it represents one of the most interesting venues for the nobles of today.

The Castle of Vincigliata stands amid the Fiesole hills and commands a remarkably sweeping view of the city of Florence which is easily accessible in just a few minutes.

The summertime enhances further the location thanks to blooming nature that surrounds the castle.

Venice, Italy

Venice is a unique blend of water, art, and romance. It consists of 118 masses of land connected by bridges and waterways. It is a beautiful city that boasts rich lavishness. You’ll be able to walk most places, discovering many magnificent churches and palaces, lively squares, and interesting shops. The major sights like the basilica and piazza of San Marco are perhaps the city’s most famous. Enjoy a ride on a gondola while navigating through the city. It seems as if at each step you will encounter some aspect of the city worth admiring.

Venice’s extravagance and fantasy are not just the result of its remarkable buildings, but of the very fact that Venice is a city built on water. It is a city created more than 1,000 years ago by men who dared defy the sea, implanting their splendid palaces and churches on mud banks in a swampy and treacherous lagoon. Gothic styles were adapted to create a new kind of Venetian Gothic art and archi-tecture. You will be in awe as you admire the artistic and historic bril-liance of everything around you.

Then we’ll move onto the Piazza della Rotonda for visiting the best preserved monument of antiquity, the

Pantheon, dating back to the II cent AD.

The Vatican City

Imperial Rome

What a better way to start your discovery of the Eternal City than by visiting the largest amphitheatre in the world: The Colosseum.

We drive by this fa-mous site, where images of chariot races dance through our minds, followed by Teatro Marcello, a forerunner of the Colosseum.

Dine Around Via Veneto

For this dine around we would go to the Via Veneto, the street of glamour! Via Veneto is one of the most fa-mous streets in Rome, Italy. The official name is via Vittorio Veneto, after the Battle of Vittorio Veneto. Fede-rico Fellini's classic 1960 film La Dolce Vita was mostly centered around the Via Veneto area.

Day Two - Continued

Located in historical city centre, come and discover one of the most amazing restau-rants with a cabaret show. Animated by The Company Teatro Tiberino tonight you have the chance to discover the very best of the songs from the Italian tradition with singing, dancing and music of course as well as involvement of the public.

This is the perfect venue for an informal and fun evening that gives the opportunity to get acquainted with the real spirit of Rome and Italy with folk singing and dancing.

OR

l’Archeologia

l’Archeologia is immersed in the wonderful Antique Appian Park and the grand Roman tomb ruin is like a stage in this superb garden, dominated by a majestic wisteria that for over 300 years has bloomed, creating a deli-

cious and fresh shade.

The Archeologia is a mix between culture and cuisine, between modern and antique, between good food and love for our history. The restaurant was founded around 1890, as a witness there is a photo taken in 1895 that

one can admire in the Scipio Hall.

Gladiator School

Master the basics of hand-to-hand combat at a genuine gladiator school on the ancient Appian Way. You'll dis-cover the secrets of Imperial Rome's gladiator games, get hands-on with ancient Roman history and have the best fun you can imagine!

During your two-hour lesson, your gladiator instructor will teach you how to fight with authentic weapons used by the gladiators of ancient Rome. Lessons are organized and led by members of the Historic Group of Rome who specialize in the re-enactment of Roman life and gladiatorial combat.

Day Three

Same tours as day two, with the additional option of Gladiator School.

Transfer to Venice

After a final Roman breakfast, you will be transferred to Roma Termini where you will board a train to Venice. Relax in your first class seats and enjoy the scenery along the way. But don't get to comfortable, for we will stop to tour the beautiful city of Florence.

Without a doubt one of the most beautiful squares in this won-derful city, its ideal location near all of the city’s museums and principal monuments have made it a famous meeting point for years. We make our way towards the Straw Market and the picturesque shop-lined bridge, Il Ponte Vecchio, which is famous for its selection of gold and silver. We have ample time to do as we wish...to shop, to browse or to visit Santa Croce, the arts and crafts center of Florence, with its unusual variety of leather goods.

Welcome Reception and Dinner

Welcome to the romantic city of Venice. Tonight you will gather at the hotel with friends and colleagues to celebrate your arrival.

Seducer, gambler, necromancer, swindler, good Samaritan, spy, swashbuckler, self-made gentleman, entre-preneur, wit, poet, translator, philosopher and general bon vivant, Giacomo Casanova was not only the most notorious lover the Western world has known, but also a storyteller of the first order. His many amorous con-quests range from noblewomen to nuns to cobblers' daughters, all of them willing partners in his adventures.

On this tour you will learn about his life, richer and stranger than most fictions, and you will follow his footsteps to discover some of the sites of his intriguing life. We start from San Samuele, where he was born and where you will learn about his youth as a precocious ecclesiastic.

Then, we proceed to the Piombi Prisons, at the Doge’s Palace and follow the “secret tour” to see the cells where he was imprisoned for more than nine months and the itiner-ary he followed to escape. Regarding his thrilling escape, Casanova said: “I confess to being proud of it: my vanity, however, does not spring from the fact of managing to es-cape, as luck played a large part in this, but from the fact that I judged the venture feasi-ble and had the courage to go through with it.”

Guggenheim Museum Tour

Situated in Palazzo Venier dei Leone on the Grand Canal, the Guggenheim Museum was bought in 1949 as home to the American millionaire, Peggy Guggenheim, who lovingly put together this collection. This private compilation of modern art is a comprehensive sampling of mainstream 20th Century works, including artists such as Picasso, De Chirico, Magritte Kandinsky, Chagall, Miro and Dali. The museum consists of over two-hundred magnificent paintings and sculptures, as well as an entire room devoted entirely to Jackson Pollock.

The Guggenheim is one of the most visited sites in Venice, where sunlight fills each room and the plethora of large modern canvases provide a striking contrast to the Renaissance paintings which usually highlight most Venetian churches and museums. Located in one of the most charming corners of Venice, you will have the pleasure of strolling through the garden filled with masterfully created sculptures, with the incredible Grand Canal glistening in the background.

One of the finest collections in Italy, this Gallery was created in 1784 and houses Venetian works of art spanning six centuries! Situated on the Grand Canal in the heart of the city, this incomparable collection of art provides a wonderful overview to the culture of Venice. Works include pieces from the Medieval Byzantine era and continue through the Renaissance and the Baroque period. You will have the honor of admiring works by Bellini, Carpaccio, Mantegna, Titian, Tiepolo, Canaletto and Cosimo Tura to name a few. Also exhibited is “The Tempest” by Giorgione, which is referred to as “the jewel of the collection.”

Day Five - Continued

We have the pleasure of enjoying a relaxing and scenic cruise by private motor launch over the blue waters of the Venetian Lagoon until we arrive at the island of Murano, which has produced glass that has fascinated Europe and the world for over five-hundred years. After a special demonstration of the process of glass-blowing, guests will be given ample time to ask questions and shop for items throughout the factory.

Next, we make our way to the sleepy fisherman’s island of Burano. Surrounded by its picture-postcard multi-colored houses, we have the rare opportunity to see the islanders skillfully creating hand-made laces, embroi-dery, handkerchiefs, shawls and tablecloths, all of which adorn Venetian walls and doorways.

The final stop on this fun journey is to the island of beautiful Torcello. where guests will relax and enjoy the visit of the wonderful cathedral.

Murano, Burano and Torcello Lagoon Tour (half day)

This walking tour has been designed in order to step away from the major city sites crammed with tourists, and to explore the districts that are the real Venice.

Tour will start by the Ghetto area. The Ghetto was the only area in Venice where the Jewish merchants could establish themselves.

Venice is the town of merchants, the symbol of a concrete world based on power and trading, and just there the word ‘Ghetto’ was coined, as there the most ancient ghetto in history was built.

From the Ghetto the group will move towards the Riato area and visit of the Rialto market.

Palazzo Pisani Moretta was erected in the second half of the 15th Century at one of the most attractive points along the Grand Canal: half way between the Rialto Bridge and Ca’ Foscari’s vault. The Palace underwent several expansions over the years and restorations were completed in the 18th Century, when the ultimate changes which gave it its present day appearance were completed. The outstanding façade was built accord-ing to the Gothic style, and the elaborate Baroque decorations inside are the works of some of the most re-nowned Venetian artists of the 18th Century, including Tiepolo, Jacopo Guarana, Gaspara Diziani and Giuseppe Angeli. With its beautiful architecture and extensive collection of art, Palazzo Pisani Moretta is an ideal venue for an event in the heart of Venice.
