THE GIFT OF NEW MEMBERS Community Church has welcomed many new members recently. We rejoiced with Sara Blight, Bonnie Keegan, and Megan Harris in October. On November 23rd, we joined with Todd Edwards and Valry Feltrow, and David, Denis, Dylan, and Richard Boyer.
But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall
come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, From everlasting.
Micah 5:2
Family-Centered Worship on Christmas Eve at 4:30pm. Children
who might like to participate are welcome if they can make the
Thursday evening rehearsal at 6:30pm
Wreaths Across America They served us, so we may live in freedom. Join us December 13th We are pleased to introduce an opportunity for ALL members, family and guests at Community Church to participate in Wreaths Across America, an outreach which the Seasoned Seniors have passionately placed in front of our congregation. Ways to help: 1. Donation: Last year more wreaths than ever were donated,
1,000, which still did not cover the entire cemetery of 2,996 gravesites. Visit www.wreathsacrossamerica.org, click SPONSOR LOCALLY and type in “Friends of Annapolis,” to credit the Annapolis National Cemetery. Donate 2 wreaths and the 3rd is free! Deadline for online donations is Monday, December 1st. If you’d rather send a check, let Kenn Bing know to reserve your wreath.
2. Participate: The ceremony is Saturday, December 13th at 12 noon sharp at the Annapolis National Cemetery, West Street, Annapolis. The Westin Hotel graciously allows volunteers to park for free. A 15 minute military ceremony is followed by placing honorary wreaths. Then all volunteers are asked to begin placing wreaths on the gravestones.
RAIN OR SHINE, so dress appropriately. Contact Kenn Bing to coordinate carpools. Thanks you!
Baby Pantry Donations Girl Scout Troop 1849 celebrated their founder, Juliette Gordon Lowe’s birthday at Community last month. They requested a “Wish List” from director, Margaret Galasso, and delivered the spoils to the Pantry. A group of federal employees collected baby wipes, originally intended for Afghanistan. When mailing proved prohibitive, they donated to our Pantry. Brownie Troop 879 from Crofton Woods Elementary brought a basket of items with a wonderful handmade card.

Volunteers are the Best!
Announcements The Winter Rose More changes ahead as we say good-bye to the very popular
Director of the CDC, Stephanie Marrone. We will miss her
vibrant spirit, strong leadership, and serious devotion to
CDC’s students, teachers, and to the Church.
If you are ever down South Florida way, visit Homestead
United Methodist Church where Becky Gilbert is now
Youth Director. A wonderful fireside gathering and a special
good-bye service were held in her honor.
Clean gently-used winter coats for adults and children are
being collected in a large box with a big red bow in the
Narthex.
Winter Relief is around the corner, Steve Hendershot is
looking for volunteers to drive our vans between Crofton
and Glen Burnie each morning, afternoon and some
evenings from 12 to 19 January to enable Ann Seton Church
to provide shelter to men who have non. You only need a
driver’s license. Contact Steve at 443.510.4214 or
